3. DIMENSIONS
The Wi-Fi access point provides wireless network access to one or
more devices with Wi-Fi communication capability in accordance with
standard IEEE 802.11b/g/n (operation on 2.4 GHz frequency band).

The communication range is a few dozen metres depending on the
environment. Several Wi-Fi access points can be used in remote
locations to extend the Wi-Fi coverage.
Wi-Fi data exchanges can be protected using various levels of
encryption (WEP, WPA or WPA2/802.11i) to restrict network access
to authorised computers/devices only. The Wi-Fi access point permits
a maximum data rate of 300 Mbps in 40 MHz channel width mode and
144 Mbps in 20 MHz channel width mode (mode selected by default).

Products are installed in 50 mm deep Batibox boxes.
Mechanisms are flush-mounted or surface-mounted.
The height at which an access point is installed on a wall does not
affect the range or the speed.

6. GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
- The access point can be configured and administered via an intuitive
web interface.
- Free firmware updates available on the Legrand website.
A USB dongle containing the tools can be used to configure the access
point.
- Access point mode (wired rear connection, wireless network broadcasting for Wi-Fi clients)
- Universal repeater mode (wireless connection to another access point,
local retransmission of the wireless signal for Wi-Fi clients)
- Number of aerials: two omnidirectional aerials integrated in the product
- Ethernet interface: 10/100 Base T, RJ45, tool-free connection
- Wi-Fi interface: the access point can be used for operation in 2.4 GHz,
802.11 b/g/n
- Transmission frequencies (channels) automatically adapt to the
country of use
- Frequency band: - 802.11b/g/n: 2.4 GHz ISM to 2.48 GHz ISM
20 or 40 MHz channel width
- Signal strength adjustable (from 15% to 100%), in order to reduce
or increase the coverage area and thus increase the density of Wi-Fi
terminals
- Minimal electricity consumption:

7. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
8. STANDARDS
Principle of reduction of the speed due to management of the Wi-Fi
network, sharing between users, distance and environment.
The access point is compatible with the following standards:
- 802.11b: Radio transmission standard
- 802.11g: Radio transmission standard
- 802.11n: Radio transmission standard
- 802.1x: Identification standard (EAP TLS, EAP TTLS, PEAP).
Identification is handled by a Radius server.
- 802.11i: Transmitted data encryption mode, also called WPA2.
- WMM service class: Quality of service support, for example for
voice over IP (VolP)

La libération des canaux est sous la responsabilité de
chaque pays. L'administrateur réseaux sans fil doit configurer
le pays. Ainsi les canaux seront automatiquement
en conformité avec les dispositions du pays.
Channel availability depends on local country regulations.
Wireless LAN system administrator must choose correct
country of operation. Channels are then automatically
configurated to comply with s pecified country's regulations.
Ces dispositions sont assurées pour la directive 1999/5/CE par la conformité aux normes suivantes:
