ARNING: Always disconnect power at the circuit breaker to the unit prior to
performing any maintenance or service operation.

CAUTION: Allow adequate time for the element and body casing to cool before
attempting to work on the heater.
CAUTION: Do not operate this unit unless it is fully assembled.
1. Turn off power at the circuit breaker panel.
2. Remove the four screws and grille cover from the RCH heater. (Figure 1)
3. Remove the two bracket screws that secure the display board to the unit. (Figure 2)
4. On the back of the display board remove the 8-wire harness from the board.

5. Connect the RCH-CONTROLMOD-RP to the end of the wire harness that was
removed and the other end to the display board. (Figure 3)
6. Ensure that all connections are secure, insert the excess wire into the opening
in the heater, reattach the display board assembly and the grille cover.

7. Turn on the power on to the unit at the circuit breaker panel.
8. If the unit has never been turned on, it will run for 28 minutes at full power for 20
minutes, then for 8 minutes without heat to cool the heater down.
9. Once the unit has completed this cycle, the heat will turn back on.
10. Turn off the power to unit at the circuit breaker panel for 1 minute then turn back
on.

VERTISSEMENT : Toujours couper l’alimentation électrique de l’appareil à
l’aide du disjoncteur dans le panneau électrique avant d’effectuer toute tâche
d’entretien ou de réparation.
MISE EN GARDE : Laisser à l’élément et au boîtier suffisamment de temps pour
refroidir avant de procéder à l’entretien de l’appareil de chauffage.
MISE EN GARDE : Ne pas faire fonctionner cet appareil à moins qu’il soit entièrement assemblé.
1. Couper l’alimentation électrique au panneau de disjoncteurs.
2. Retirer les quatre vis et le couvercle de la grille de l’appareil de chauffage de
plafond. (Figure 1)
3. Retirer les deux vis du support retenant la carte d’affichage à l’appareil. (Figure
2)
4. Au dos de la carte d’affichage, retirer le faisceau à 8 fils. (Figure 2)
5. Connectez le RCH-CONTROLMOD-RP au faisceau à 8 fils qui a été supprimé et
l’autre extrémité de la carte d’affichage. (Figure 3)
6. Assurez-vous que toutes les connexions sont sécurisées, insérer l’excédent de
fil dans l’ouverture de l’appareil de chauffage, remonter la carte d’affichage et
remettre le couvercle de la grille en place.
7. Rétablir l’alimentation électrique au panneau de disjoncteurs.
8. Si l’unité n’a jamais reçu le pouvoir, l’appareil fonctionnera à pleine puissance
pendant 20 minutes, puis pendant 8 minutes sans émission de chaleur pour
permettre à l’appareil de refroidir.
9. Une fois que l’appareil a effectué son cycle, il se remettra à chauffer.
10.Couper l’alimentation électrique au panneau de disjoncteurs pendant 1 minute
puis rallumez-le.
