Aperçu
Paramètres email avancés vous permet de numériser un document, puis de le convertir en un fichier PDF hautement
compressé au moyen de la méthode MRC (Mixed Raster Content). Cela diminue la taille de fichier du document numérisé
tout en préservant sa qualité. L'application prend également en charge la reconnaissance optique des caractères (OCR),
qui convertit un document numérisé en un fichier PDF ou TXT consultable.
Une fois le document numérisé et converti en fichier PDF ou TXT, vous pouvez l'envoyer par email à partir de
l'imprimante.
Remarque : L'application exige que de l'espace soit disponible sur le disque dur de l'imprimante. Installez un disque
dur si votre imprimante en est dépourvue. Pour plus d'informations sur l'installation du disque dur dans
l'imprimante, consultez le Guide de l'utilisateur de l'imprimante.
Pour obtenir la liste des imprimantes prises en charge, consultez le fichier Lisezmoi de l'application.

Configuration des options de numérisation
1 Accédez aux paramètres de configuration de l'application à partir d'Embedded Web Server.
2 Le cas échéant, dans la section Paramètres standard, cliquez sur Modifier les paramètres d'email standard pour
régler les paramètres.
Remarque : L'email doit être configuré sur l'imprimante avant d'utiliser cette application. Pour plus
d'informations, reportez-vous au Guide de l'utilisateur de l'imprimante.
3 Dans la section Paramètres premium, configurez les paramètres suivants :
• Type de fichier PDF : sélectionnez le type de fichier PDF par défaut.
• OCR (Convertir en texte) : sélectionnez une option pour activer ou désactiver la OCR.
• Format de fichier OCR : sélectionnez le format OCR par défaut.
• Langues reconnues par la OCR : sélectionnez la ou les langues qui doivent être reconnues par la OCR.
• Traitement OCR supplémentaire : sélectionnez les options d'amélioration de la lisibilité des fichiers OCR
numérisés.
– Pivoter automatiquement : cette option oriente automatiquement les documents numérisés dans le bons
sens.
– Détection de l'inversion : cette option permet à la OCR de reconnaître des texte très contrastés, notamment
du texte blanc sur noir.
Remarque : Avant d'utiliser la fonction OCR, assurez-vous que Lexmark AccuRead OCR est installé et activé.

Numérisation de documents pour le courrier électronique
1 Chargez le document.
Remarque : Les documents sont chargés dans le dispositif d'alimentation automatique (DAA) ou posés sur la
vitre du scanner. Pour plus d'informations sur la manière de charger correctement le document, reportez-vous
au Guide de l'utilisateur de l’imprimante.
2 Le cas échéant, entrez vos informations d'authentification.
3 Sur l'écran d'accueil, appuyez sur l'icône de l'application.
4 Entrez les destinataires.
5 Le cas échéant, réglez les paramètres de numérisation, puis appuyez sur Envoyer, ou Envoyer par email.
6 Si la fonction OCR est activée, sélectionnez le type de fichier OCR, puis appuyez sur
.
Remarque : Pour convertir le document numérisé en PDF compressé, désactivez la fonction OCR. A partir
d'Embedded Web Server, assurez-vous que le type de fichier PDF compressé est sélectionné par défaut dans les
paramètres d'application.
7 Si vous souhaitez numériser d'autres documents, chargez le document suivant, puis appuyez sur Numériser la page
suivante.
8 Appuyez sur Terminer le travail.

Dépannage
Une erreur d'application s'est produite
Essayez une ou plusieurs des solutions suivantes :
VÉRIFIEZ LE JOURNAL SYSTÈME
1 Obtenez l'adresse IP de l'imprimante :
• Sur l'écran d'accueil de l'imprimante, appuyez sur .
• Depuis la section TCP/IP du menu Réseau/Ports menu
• En imprimant une page de configuration réseau ou une page des paramètres du menu, puis en localisant la
section TCP/IP
Remarque : Une adresse IP apparaît sous la forme de quatre séries de chiffres séparées par des points, par
exemple 123.123.123.123.
2 Ouvrez un navigateur Web, puis tapez l'adresse IP de l'imprimante dans le champ d'adresse.
La page Embedded Web Server apparaît.
3 Dans le menu de navigation sur le gauche, cliquez sur Paramètres ou Configuration, puis effectuez une des
opérations suivantes :
• Cliquez sur Applications >Gestion des applications.
• Cliquez sur Solutions pour l'appareil >Solutions (eSF).
• Cliquez sur Embedded Solutions.
4 Cliquez sur l'onglet Système >Journal.
5 Dans le menu Filtre, sélectionnez l'état d'une application.
6 Dans le menu des applications, sélectionnez une application et cliquez sur Envoyer.
RÉGLEZ LES PARAMÈTRES DE NUMÉRISATION
Remarque : Cela s'applique uniquement aux applications qui prennent en charge la numérisation.
Dans les paramètres de configuration de l'application, sélectionnez une résolution de numérisation faible. Vous
pouvez sélectionner Désactiver ou une résolution inférieure dans le menu Numérisation couleur.
CONTACTEZ VOTRE FOURNISSEUR DE SOLUTIONS
Si vous ne parvenez toujours pas à identifier le problème, contactez votre fournisseur de solutions afin de bénéficier
d'une aide supplémentaire.

Essayez l'une ou plusieurs des solutions suivantes :
ASSUREZ-VOUS QU'UN DISQUE DUR EST INSTALLÉ SUR L'IMPRIMANTE
L'application exige qu'un disque dur soit installé sur l'imprimante. Pour plus d'informations sur l'installation d'un
disque dur dans l'imprimante, consultez le Guide de l'utilisateur de l'imprimante.
VÉRIFIEZ QU'IL Y A DE L'ESPACE DISPONIBLE SUR LE DISQUE DUR DE L'IMPRIMANTE

Remarque : L'option Imprimer répertoire s'affiche uniquement lorsque l'imprimante est équipée d'un disque

Exportation et importation d’une configuration à l’aide
d'Embedded Web Server
Vous pouvez exporter les paramètres de configuration dans un fichier texte que vous pouvez ensuite importer pour
appliquer les paramètres à d'autres imprimantes.
1 Depuis Embedded Web Server, cliquez sur Paramètres ou Configuration, puis effectuez une des opérations
suivantes :
2 Dans la liste des applications installées, cliquez sur le nom de l'application à configurer.
3 Cliquez sur Configurer, puis effectuez une des opérations suivantes :
• Pour exporter un fichier de configuration, cliquez sur Exporter, puis suivez les instructions sur l'écran de
l'ordinateur afin d'enregistrer le fichier de configuration.
Remarque : Si l'erreur JVM saturée se produit, répétez la procédure d'exportation jusqu'à ce que le
fichier de configuration soit enregistré.
• Pour importer une configuration à partir d'un fichier, cliquez sur Importer, puis parcourez l'arborescence pour
sélectionner le fichier de configuration enregistré exporté d'une imprimante précédemment configurée.

Remarques :
– Avant d'importer le fichier de configuration, vous pouvez choisir de le prévisualiser d'abord.
– Si le délai expire et un écran vide apparaît, réactualisez le navigateur Web, puis cliquez sur Appliquer.

inférieur de l'écran).
5 Dans la section Solutions intégrées, notez la valeur en regard de Framework=. Elle désigne la version installée.
Remarque : Pour afficher la totalité de la liste des imprimantes prises en charge pour chaque version du serveur
Web incorporé, reportez-vous au fichier Lisezmoi.
