L'œuvre de Lynn S.K. est invocation lumineuse du monde, célébration d'un cosmos hanté
d'apparitions crépusculaires, de figures évanescentes, d'être-étoiles. Son art nous invite à passer
au-delà des apparences, dans un univers où le réel et ses corps sont morcelés, explosés en mille
lumières et rassemblés en fragments de miroir brisé pour confesser nos fantasmes de paillettes
ensanglantées et de nudités incandescentes. Rayonnant par l'éclat de leurs déchirures, les
photographies de Lynn S.K. sacralisent la fragilité entaillée de ses modèles en affirmant leurs
présences dans une ultime résistance avant l'effondrement. La tension lumineuse s'inscrit sur les
corps, s'écrit sur les peaux et y affirme la chair comme lieu, espace d'expression par lequel les
forces éthérées du monde communiquent. La photographe métamorphose alors toute surface en
écran de projection, toile vierge sur laquelle l'ombre se fait encre et laisse trace. Chaque image y
devient espace de transition, sorte de twilight zone où l'artiste interroge le muet dialogue que
mettent en scène les métamorphoses de l'ombre et de la lumière. Ces puissances de l'Immatériel
s'imposent comme l'apparition du bizarre au cœur du quotidien. Un mélange de familiarité et
d'insolite par lequel l'œuvre trouve le parfait moyen d'expression pour passer au-delà du tangible.
La lumière y est ressentie comme émanation d'une réalité « toute autre » qui, s'engouffrant par la
porte béante de l'Au-delà, souffle son étrangeté sur le réel. Car dans chacune de ses images, il y
a un je-ne-sais-quoi du monde qui se perd et s'égare pour nous faire passer les portes d'un
domaine de l'absolu ailleurs. En nous invitant à percevoir, aux confins du visible, les traces d'une
existence autre de nos réels, l'œuvre de Lynn S.K. se dresse ainsi aux frontières de l'ineffable pour
nous en murmurer les mystères sacrés.
Lynn S.K.'s work is a luminous supplication of the world, celebrating a cosmos haunted
by twilight shadows, shifty features and bright creatures. It takes us beyond appearences where the
Reality and its bodies have shattered into a thousand fragments before gathering again like the
pieces of a broken miror, giving way to our fantasies of bloody glitter and vibrant nudes.
Devoured by darkness, her images make the bared fragility of her models sacred, beaming
through their cracked skin in their last endeavour to resist the ultimate collapse. Constantly
drawing lines between life and death, Lynn S.K.'s bright and dark brushes unveil the pictorial
virtues of light and shadow made real, in a swirl of blurness and confusion. The luminous tension
makes the human body stand out and subtitute itself to the background, thus becoming the
artist's writing material, a space dedicated to exchange and contrast. The artist then turns space
into a projection screen, a white canvas where shadows turn into ink and become signs. Every
image is like a transition space, a twilight zone where the power of enlightment questions the
silent dialogue of light and shadow. The Immaterial asserts itself in Lynn's work as an apparition
of the Bizarre in everyday life. The artist finds in this combination of familiarity and unusualness
the perfect mean of expression beyond the realm of the Tangible. A light spreading from "an
Other" reality blows its wind of strangeness onto the world through the open doors of the
Unearthly, And in each of her images, there is a je-ne-sais-quoi from this world losing itself
somewhere in the Absolute. At the visible boundaries, Lynn SK's work makes us aware of the real
world's other life, and stands on the edge of the Unuterrable to whisper the world's sacred
mysteries."
