Backwardcompatible with DDS-3 and DDS-4 media, the DAT 72 provides complete investment security. The Certance DAT 72 provides exceptional reliability with unprecedented features such as an environmentally sealed head-to-tape interface for improved drive life. TapeShield™ reduces airborne and media contaminants, improving data integrity and enhancing the life of the drive and media. SmartShield™ ensures that data is recoverable from difficult-to-read media. The DAT 72 is available as a stand-alone drive and with T APES TOR™ bundles that offer internal, desktop or 1U rackmount configurations.
