Leila Salem, Clinical Psychology Ph.D candidate at University of Montreal
My thesis is focused on the influence of placement in specialized housing in the clinical and
criminal trajectories of individuals found not criminally responsible on account of mental disorder. This
study is based on data collected for the ongoing National Trajectory Project.
In the mental health justice lab (2009), I worked on the Montreal Mental Health court project.
Moreover, I am a member of the organizing committee for the mental health - justice cross-training
sessions.
