Stecken Sie den Schraubendreher wie links bei "1" gezeigt in den
Haken ein.
Biegen Sie den Haken mit dem Schraubendreher etwas nach außen
("2"), drücken Sie den Haken nach unten ("3") und hängen ihn in die
Nase am CPU-Sockel ein ("4").
Der Haken darf jedoch dabei das Mainboard nicht berühren!
Rutschen Sie bei der Montage nicht versehentlich mit dem
Schraubendreher ab, Kratzer im Mainboard fallen genausowenig unter
die Garantie/Gewährleistung wie abgebrochene CPU-Ecken durch verkantete oder falsche Montage!

bitte komplett durch. Falls Sie keine Fachkenntnisse für den Einbau des CPUKühlers haben, so lassen Sie den Einbau von einer Fachkraft oder einer entsprechenden Fachwerkstatt durchführen!

Schalten Sie Ihren PC aus und trennen Sie ihn von der Netzspannung, ziehen
Sie den Netzstecker!
Einbau
Je nachdem, ob der CPU-Kühler als Ersatz für einen bestehenden "alten" CPU-Kühler dienen
soll, oder ob Sie einen neuen PC zusammenbauen wollen, ist die Vorgehensweise etwas
anders.
Beim Ersatz eines alten CPU-Kühlers öffnen Sie das PC-Gehäuse, bauen Sie das Mainboard
aus und entfernen Sie den alten CPU-Kühler.
Reinigen Sie die Oberfläche der CPU vollständig von vorhandenen Resten von Wärmeleitpaste
oder Wärmeleitfolie. Benutzen Sie dazu nur einen weichen Gegenstand (z.B. sauberes weiches
Tuch) und seien Sie sehr vorsichtig, da sonst die CPU zerstört wird!
Beim Zusammenbau eines neuen PCs stellen Sie den Hebel des Nullkraftsockels senkrecht,
setzen Sie die CPU korrekt (und vorsichtig) ein und schließen Sie den Nullkraftsockel wieder.
Platzieren Sie das Mainboard auf einer festen, glatten, ebenen Oberfläche. Zum Schutz der
Oberfläche (z.B. Schreibtisch) legen Sie einen Karton zwischen Mainboard und Oberfläche.
Bringen Sie nun auf der CPU (nur auf dem ca. 1x1cm großen, in der Mitte der
Oberseite der CPU etwas hervorstehenden Teil, dem sog. "DIE") eine dünne
Schicht Wärmeleitpaste auf, ca. 0.1-0.2mm reichen völlig aus!
Setzen Sie erst danach den Kühlkörper korrekt auf die CPU auf. Die breite ausgefräste Stufe
auf der Unterseite des Kühlkörpers muss entsprechend auf der Seite des CPU-Sockels liegen,
die etwas erhöht ist.
Achten Sie auf die korrekte Anordnung des
Kühlkörpers zum CPU-Sockel "A", beachten Sie die Lage der breiten Ausfräsung "B"
im Bild links.

However, the hook may not touch the mainboard!
Do not slip off by accident with the screwdriver; scratches on the
mainboard are not covered by the warranty/guarantee along with broken CPU edges due to jammed or wrong assembly.

Delivery Scope
Falls Sie keine Fachkenntnisse für den Einbau des CPU-Kühlers haben, so lassen Sie den Einbau von einer Fachkraft oder einer entsprechenden
Fachwerkstatt durchführen! Dies ist immer noch günstiger als eine evtl. zerstörte CPU und ein defektes Mainboard!
CPUs mit abgebrochenen Ecken und Mainboards mit tiefen Kratzern neben
dem CPU-Sockel fallen nicht unter Garantie oder Gewährleistung!
Safety Notices
• Nur eine Orientierung des Kühlkörpers auf CPU & Nullkraftsockel ist korrekt. Beachten Sie
die korrekte Lage der breiten Ausfräsung auf der Unterseite des Kühlkörpers in Bezug auf
den Nullkraftsockel!
• Wenn der CPU-Kühler irgendwann entfernt werden sollte, muss vor dem erneuten Aufsetzen
der CPU-Kühler und die CPU von sämtlichen Resten der alten Wärmeleitpaste gereinigt werden.
Wärmeleitpaste ist nur für den einmaligen Gebrauch geeignet! Durch die
Hitzeeinwirkung verändert sich das Material. Deshalb sollte für eine erneute
Montage des CPU-Kühlers auch neue Wärmeleitpaste verwendet werden.
Bringen Sie die Wärmeleitpaste nur auf das ca. 1x1cm große "DIE" (dem
eigentlichen Prozessor) auf, eine ca. 0.1-0.2mm dicke Schicht reicht aus.
• Zwischen CPU (dem eigentlichen ca. 1x1cm großen "DIE" in der Mitte der CPU) und dem
Kühlkörper darf nur die dünne Schicht Wärmeleitpaste liegen. Platzieren Sie dazwischen auf
keinen Fall z.B. einen Temperatursensor! Die schlechte Wärmeleitung durch den größeren
Abstand zwischen CPU und Kühllörper führt zur Zerstörung der CPU! Garantieverlust!
Please read the entire operating manual prior to starting the installation. If
you do not have the necessary expertise for the installation of the CPU cooler,
let an expert or a corresponding workshop carry out the installation.
First, turn off your PC and separate it from the mains. Pull the power plug!
CPUs with broken edges and mainboards with deep scratches next to the CPU
socket are not covered by the warranty/guarantee!
• Only the orientation of the cooler body on the CPU and zero insertion force socket is correct.
Observe the correct position of the broad cutout on the bottom of the cooler body with reference to the zero insertion force socket.
The mode of procedure differs, depending on whether you want to use the CPU cooler as a
replacement for an existing, "old" CPU cooler or whether you want to assemble a new PC.
Heat conductor paste is only suited for one-time use!
The material changes with heat impact. Therefore, you should use new heat
conductor paste for the renewed installation of the CPU cooler.
Only apply the heat conductor paste to the approx. 1 x 1 cm large "DIE" (the
actual processor), an approx. 0.1 - 0.2 mm thick layer is sufficient.
When replacing an old CPU cooler, open the PC casing, disassemble the mainboard and remove the old CPU cooler.
Clean the surface of the CPU and remove all residues of heat conductor paste or heat conductor foil. Only use a soft device to do so (e.g. a clean soft cloth) and be very careful to not destroy
the CPU.
• There may only be a thin layer of heat conductor paste between the CPU (the actual approx.
1 x 1 cm large "DIE" in the centre of the CPU) and the cooler body. Do not place a temperature sensor, for example, between it under any circumstances! The bad heat conduction due
to the larger distance between the CPU and the cooler body leads to the destruction of the
CPU! Loss of warranty!
When assembling a new PC, put the lever of the zero insertion force sockets in a vertical position, insert the CPU correctly (and carefully) and close the socket again.
• If you want to use a special heat conductor paste (for example, heat conductor paste with
silver particles that are supposed to enable a slightly better heat conduction), make sure you
do not use too much of the paste.
Installation
Place the mainboard on a solid, smooth and level surface. Place a piece of cardboard between
the mainboard and the surface to protect the surface (e.g. desktop).

Apply a thin layer of heat conductor paste on the CPU (only on the approx. 1 x 1
cm large part in the centre of the top of the CPU, which protrudes a bit, the socalled "DIE"), approx. 0.1 0.2 mm are perfectly sufficient!
• Das hohe Gewicht des Kühlkörpers/Lüfters kann beim Transport des PCs zu Problemen führen. Durch Stöße/Schläge, wie sie z.B. beim Transport im Auto auftreten, könnte sich der
Kühlkörper/Lüfter vom CPU-Sockel lösen. Dadurch wird nicht nur der CPU-Sockel beschädigt, sondern durch die scharfen Kanten des Produkts auch weitere Komponenten im
Gehäuseinneren des PCs.

If you do not have the necessary expertise for the installation of the CPU cooler, let an expert or a corresponding workshop carry out the installation. This
is still less expensive than a possibly destroyed CPU and a defect mainboard!
• If you want to remove the CPU cooler at any time in the future, you must carefully clean the
CPU cooler and the CPU of all residues of the old heat conductor paste.
• Falls Sie eine spezielle Wärmeleitpaste verwenden wollen (es gibt z.B. Wärmeleitpaste mit
Silberteilchen, die eine etwas bessere Wärmeübertragung ermöglichen sollen), so achten
Sie darauf, dass nicht zuviel von der Paste verwendet wird.
Sicherheitshalber sollte deshalb bei einem Transport des PCs der CPU-Lüfter von der
CPU entfernt werden. Bei der erneuten Montage muss die Wärmeleitpaste vollständig von CPU-Kühlkörper und CPU entfernt und neue Wärmeleitpaste aufgebracht
werden, siehe oben.
Connect the 3-pole plug to the provided CPU cooler connection of your mainboard (see the
mainboard's operating instructions).
Secure all cables with one or several cable clips so that they cannot reach into the PC's cooler.

Bend the hook slightly outwards ("2") with the screwdriver, press the
hook down ("3") and insert it in the nib on the CPU socket ("4").

Der 3polige Stecker ist am dafür vorgesehenen CPU-Kühler-Anschluss Ihres Mainboards anzustecken (siehe Bedienungsanleitung zum Mainboard).
Sichern Sie alle Kabel mit einem oder mehreren Kabelbindern, so dass sie nicht in einen der
Lüfter des PCs gelangen können.

Observe the correct alignment of the cooler
body to the CPU socket "A", observe the
position of the broad cutout "B" in the image on the left.
Otherwise, the electric conductivity of this special heat conductor paste may lead to the electric connection of the contacts on the top of Athlon/Duron CPUs – this may destroy the CPU.
• The large weight of the cooler body/ventilator may lead to problems during the PC's transport. Hits/blows, which may occur during transport in a car, may detach the cooler body/ventilator from the CPU socket. This not only damages the CPU socket but also additional components on the inside of the PC casing due to the sharp edges of the product.
Therefore, you should remove the CPU cooler from the CPU when transporting the
PC. When reinstalling, first remove the heat conductor paste completely from the
CPU cooler body and the CPU and apply new heat conductor paste (see above).

With another kind of assembly, the cooler body is not positioned correctly on
the CPU, the CPU is not cooled and thus
destroyed after a few seconds! Loss of
warranty!
Hold the CPU slightly slanted and hang the retaining clip "C" into the corresponding nibs on
the CPU socket (see illustration above).
Now place the cooler body carefully on the CPU, do not use any force. Make sure that the
cutout "B" of the cooler body does not rest on the CPU socket "A".
Halten Sie den CPU-Kühler leicht schräg und hängen Sie den Haltebügel "C" in die entsprechenden Nasen am CPU-Sockel ein, siehe Bild oben.
Hang in the second hook on the other side with a flat screwdriver.
Setzen Sie nun den Kühlkörper vorsichtig auf die CPU auf, wenden Sie keine Gewalt an. Achten
Sie darauf, dass die Ausfräsung "B" des Kühlkörpers nicht auf dem CPU-Sockel "A" aufliegt.
Der zweite Haken auf der anderen Seite ist mit einem flachen Schraubendreher einzuhängen.

Utilisation conforme
Le produit est conçu pour aérer une unité centrale (CPU) pour socle A (AMD Athlon / Duron).
Enfoncez le tournevis dans le crochet, comme indiqué dans le schéma
« 1 » à gauche.
Pliez légèrement le crochet vers l´extérieur (« 2 ») à l´aide du tournevis,
enfoncez le crochet (« 3 ») et emboîtez-le dans le taquet du socle de la
CPU (« 4 »).
Le crochet ne doit pas toucher la carte mère !
Faites attention de ne pas déraper avec le tournevis lors du montage,
les rayures au niveau de la carte mère ne sont pas plus comprises
dans la garantie que des angles de l´unité centrale cassés dus à un
montage incliné ou incorrect!
Contenu de la livraison
Le connecteur à 3 bornes doit être branché sur le raccord du ventilateur CPU prévu à cet effet
de votre carte mère (voir la notice d´utilisation de la carte mère).

Insérez ensuite la carte mère dans le boîtier de l´ordinateur.
Bloquez tous les câbles à l´aide d´un ou plusieurs colliers de câbles de manière à ce qu´ils ne
pénètrent pas dans un des ventilateurs de l´ordinateur.

Consignes de sécurité
Lisez attentivement et entièrement cette notice d´utilisation avant d´entreprendre le montage. Dans la mesure où vous ne disposez pas des connaissances spécialisées nécessaires pour le montage du ventilateur CPU, veuillez
confier cette opération à un spécialiste ou à un atelier spécialisé !
Attention, danger de mort !
Eteignez puis débranchez votre PC du secteur avant de retirer la fiche de la
prise de courant !
Montage
La méthode d´installation est différente selon qu´il s´agit d´un ventilateur CPU de rechange pour
remplacer celui déjà existant ou que vous désirez assembler un ordinateur neuf.
Pour remplacer un vieux ventilateur CPU, ouvrez le boîtier de votre ordinateur, démontez la
carte mère et retirez l´ancien ventilateur CPU.
Enlevez tous les résidus de pâte thermique ou le pad thermique de la surface de l´unité centrale. N´utilisez à cet effet qu´un objet doux tel qu´un chiffon propre doux, que vous devrez
manier avec une précaution particulière sous peine de détruire l´unité centrale!
Lors de l´assemblage d´un nouvel ordinateur, positionnez verticalement le levier du support à
force d´insertion nulle, réglez correctement (et avec précaution) l´unité centrale et refermez le
support à force d´insertion nulle.
Conseils et indications
Dans la mesure où vous ne disposez pas des connaissances spécialisées
nécessaires pour le montage du ventilateur CPU, veuillez confier cette opération à un spécialiste ou à un atelier spécialisé ! Le recours à un spécialiste est
toujours plus avantageux qu´une éventuelle unité centrale détruite et une carte mère défectueuse !
Toute unité centrale à angles cassés et carte mère affichant de profondes rayures à côté du socle de la CPU ne sont pas comprises dans la garantie !
• Seule une orientation du dissipateur thermique sur l´unité centrale et le support à force
d´insertion nulle est correcte. Veillez à la bonne position de la large fraisure sur le dessous
du dissipateur thermique par rapport au support à force d´insertion nulle !
• Si vous devez enlever le ventilateur CPU, nettoyez tous les résidus de l´ancienne pâte thermique avant de procéder à la nouvelle installation du dissipateur thermique et de l´unité centrale.
La pâte thermique ne convient que pour un usage unique !
Le matériau se modifie sous l´influence de la chaleur. C´est la raison pour
laquelle vous devez utiliser une nouvelle pâte thermique pour un nouveau
montage du ventilateur CPU.
Appliquez la pâte thermique uniquement sur la partie “DIE” de 1x1cm (le processeur proprement dit), une couche de 0,1 à 0,2 mm est suffisante.
• Seule la fine couche de pâte thermique doit se trouver entre la CPU (le DIE proprement dit de
1x1 cm au centre de l´unité centrale) et le dissipateur thermique. Ne placez en aucun cas un
détecteur de température entre l´unité centrale et le dissipateur thermique! La mauvaise
conduction thermique due à un écart plus important entre la CPU et le dissipateur thermique
détruit la CPU! Perte de la garantie !
Placez la carte mère sur une surface stable, lisse et plane. Insérez un carton entre la carte
mère et la surface pour protéger la surface (du bureau par ex.).
• Si vous désirez utiliser une pâte thermique spéciale (il existe une pâte thermique contenant
des particules d´argent permettant une meilleure conduction thermique), veillez à ne pas utiliser trop de pâte.
Appliquez à présent une fine couche de pâte thermique sur le CPU (uniquement sur la partie nommée « DIE », d´environ 1 x 1 cm, légèrement en saillie,
située au centre de la face supérieure de l´unité centrale); une couche d´environ 0,1 à 0,2 mm d´épaisseur est largement suffisante.
De par la conductivité électrique de ces pâtes thermiques spéciales, il peut arriver que les
contacts qui existent sur les unités centrales Athlon / Duron sur la face supérieure soit reliés électriquement – pouvant détruire la CPU.
Posez ensuite correctement le dissipateur thermique sur la CPU. Le large niveau fraisé sur le
dessous du dissipateur thermique doit se situer sur le côté du support CPU qui est légèrement
élevé.
Veillez à disposer correctement le dissipateur thermique par rapport au socle de
l´unité centrale “A“, notez la position de large fraisure “B“ du schéma à gauche.
En cas d´un montage autre, le dissipateur thermique ne repose pas correctement sur l´unité centrale, cette dernière
n´est pas refroidie et peut donc être
détruite en quelques secondes ! Perte de
la garantie !
Maintenez le ventilateur CPU légèrement incliné et emboîtez l´étrier de retenue “C” dans les
taquets sur le socle CPU, Voir schéma ci-dessus.
Placez avec précaution le dissipateur thermique sur la CPU, ne forcez pas. Assurez-vous que
la fraisure “B” du dissipateur thermique ne repose pas sur le socle de la CPU “A”.
Le deuxième crochet situé sur l´autre côté s´accroche à l´aide d´un tournevis plat.
• Le poids élevé du dissipateur thermique ou du ventilateur peut occasionner des problèmes
lors du transport de l´ordinateur. Le dissipateur thermique ou le ventilateur peuvent se détacher du socle de la CPU en cas de coups et de chocs tels qu´ils se produisent lors du transport en voiture. Ceci endommage non seulement le socle, mais aussi d´autres composants
logés à l´intérieur du boîtier de l´ordinateur dû aux arêtes vives du produit.
Pour des raisons de sécurité, il convient de retirer le ventilateur CPU de l´unité centrale pour transporter l´ordinateur. Pour le remontage, ôter entièrement la pâte thermique du dissipateur thermique et de l´unité centrale, puis appliquer une nouvelle
pâte thermique, voir ci-dessus.
