TRAINING OBJECTIVES: To know the measures to observe to favour the detection and identification of species; To implement the optimum conditions of observation and identification; To favour the animal identification taking morphology, behaviour and environment characteristics into account; To recognize presence signs; To remind of the legal classification of species; To get to know the classification of species and to optimize the use of technical guides; To approach the control principles of animal populations on aerodromes. PERSONNEL CONCERNED: Any person in charge of Wildlife Hazard Control and Management on aerodromes who wishes to develop wildlife skills. TRAINING METHODS: Theoretical courses and methodological knowledge; Individual and collective practise exercises; Adaptation of the instruction to the specificities of the concerned aerodrome; Exercises of wildlife observation and identification; Interpretation of presence signs; Assessment of attained knowledge and instruction end assessment.
