DURATION OF A SESSION:
2 working days (14 hours)
The C2FPA has developed an instruction for wildlife
hazard control and management services which is
appropriate to the aerodrome specificities to increase
wildlife skills and therefore to optimize the efficiency on
interventions by determining appropriate strategies.
TRAINING OBJECTIVES:
 To know the measures to observe to favour the detection
and identification of species;
 To implement the optimum conditions of observation and
identification;
 To favour the animal identification taking morphology,
behaviour and environment characteristics into account;
 To recognize presence signs;
 To remind of the legal classification of species;
 To get to know the classification of species and to optimize
the use of technical guides;
 To approach the control principles of animal populations on
aerodromes.
PERSONNEL CONCERNED:
Any person in charge of Wildlife Hazard Control and
Management on aerodromes who wishes to develop wildlife
skills.
TRAINING METHODS:
 Theoretical courses and methodological knowledge;
 Individual and collective practise exercises;
 Adaptation of the instruction to the specificities of the
concerned aerodrome;
 Exercises of wildlife observation and identification;
 Interpretation of presence signs;
 Assessment of attained knowledge and instruction
end assessment.
