Checklist for writing your pen pal letter □ 1. Does your letter contain 5 paragraphs? □ 2. Does your letter have an introductory sentence like Bonjour mon ami, je m’appelle…? □ 3. Does it have a closing sentence like, “J’ai hate de recevoir une lettre de toi. (I am looking forward to receiving your letter.)? □ 4. Does it have a closing salutation like, “ À bientôt, Christina”? □ 5. Does your letter contain information about at least 10 things listed on your rubric, ex: ta famille, tes passé-temps, tes animaux de compagnie? □ 6. Did you put your sentences in your own words instead of translating? It’s okay to look up one or 2 words in a sentence but most of the sentences should come from your own head or from your cahier. □ 7. Did you conjugate your verbs correctly? You can use your cahier or besherelle.com to do this. □ 8. Did you include at least 5 questions for your pen pal to answer? □ 9. Are your questions formed properly? □ 10. Is your letter neat enough to read? □ 11. Are all the words in your letter spelled correctly?
