The contents of the seminar allow the paralegal, the notary, the lawyer, the student or the trainee in law to
gradually acquire knowledge of methods and practices corporate law, Federal (Canada Business Corporation) and
the Quebec law (Business Corporations Act) and forms to use, so he/she is able to achieve maximum autonomy in
the workplace.
Please take note that this seminar will be given in English and in French. Mrs. Eileen Hanley, our trainer, will be
more than pleased to answer neither in English nor in French to the questions of the participants. Finally, drinks
and cookies will be served graciously by our host Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt.
Biography
As a supervising paralegal, Mrs. Eileen Hanley participates in the administration of
the department and provides training and support to the law students and
corporate paralegals.
She assists the lawyers with the preparation of closing documents in connection
with various corporate transactions involving, among other things, mergers,
acquisitions, arrangements and fiscal and commercial reorganizations.
Mrs. Eileen Hanley has practised as a paralegal since 1994 and been with Osler
since 2002.
