The Putzeys name is highly regarded within the Hospice of Marion County organization. Robert
is following in his father’s footsteps as Dr. Putzeys served the board in several capacities. Robert
was Secretary for the Board in 2005.
Robert is a graduate of Florida State University. After graduation, he joined The Surgery Center
of Ocala as the Controller. In 2000, he took the position of Administrator of Cardiology
Associates of Central Florida.
His experiences in the medical community give great insight to assist with moving Hospice of
Marion County and Its Affiliated Companies forward. His daily work with referral sources is a
vital link in helping the HMC staff better understand referral source needs.
Robert and his wife, Carrie, have three children: Austin, Sophia, and Tanner.
Robert spends his free time coaching soccer for the Big Sun Youth Soccer League, playing golf,
spending time with his family and attending Florida State football games.
