REGISTRATION CONDITIONS
CONDITIONS D'INSCRIPTION
Tout candidat sollicitant son inscription sera soumis :

Au règlement particulier du Silk Way Rally 2016
•
Aux règles de l'article 70 du code sportif international de la
FIA, si les concurrents et conducteurs sont d'une nationalité
différente de celle de l'ASN de l'organisateur (Russian
Automobile Fédération-RAF)
Tout concurrent souhaitant s'inscrire devra satisfaire aux
exigences suivantes :
•
Être agé au minimun de 18 ans à la date du rallye
•
Pour les concurrents en course, être titulaire d'une licence
FIA ICCCR 2016 (licence concurrent conducteur).
L’organisateur du Silk Way Rally est le seul juge pour limiter le
nombre de concurrents inscrits dans chaque catégorie et se
réserve le droit de valider l’engagement d’un concurrent.

Any applicant wishing to enter will be subject to:
The specific regulations of the Silk Way Rally 2016
The regulations of the Art 70 of the FIA ‘s International
Sporting Code if the drivers or the competitor are from a
different nationality that the one of the ASN of the Organizer
(Russian Automobile Federation, RAF)
Any competitor wishing to enter must comply with the following
requirements:

Be at least 18 years old at the date of the rally
•
For racing competitors, hold a 2016 FIA ICCCR license
(competitor driver)
The Silk Way Rally Organizer is the sole judge to limit the
number of competitors in each category and reserves the right
to validate the registration of one competitor.

HOW TO REGISTER
Afin que votre inscription soit prise en compte, vous devez
obligatoirement nous renvoyer votre dossier d'engagement
comprenant votre fiche d'engagement remplie et signée par
chacun des membres de l'équipage, le récapitulatif
budgétaire rempli, accompagnée du montant des droits de
pré-engagement selon les échéanciers correspondants aux
différents tarifs et les copies numériques (format JPG, moins
de 1 MO)
1 photo d'identité par personne (nom inscrit dessus)
la photocopie recto verso des permis de conduire. Pour la
catégorie camion, au moins 2 des membres de l'équipage
doivent être titulaires du permis camion.
la photocopie de la carte grise du véhicule ;
la photocopie des passeports de tout l'équipage ;
la copie du virement bancaire du paiement de l'acompte ;
l'autorisation de prêt du propriétaire du véhicule si celui-ci
n'appartient pas à un des membres de l'équipage ;
5 photos du véhicule engagé (course, assistance, presse) :
¾ avant droit, ¾ avant gauche, ¾ arrière droit, ¾ arrière
gauche et une photo indiquant où trouver les numéros de
châssis et de moteur (voir document « Inbound China
Formalities »
In order to take your registration into account, you must
compulsorily send us back your registration file including the
registration form duly filled in and signed by each member of the
crew as well as the budget summary duly filled, together with
the pre-entry fees according to the payment schedule with the
digital colour copies of the following documents (in JPG, under 1
MO)
1 ID photo per person (name written on)
a both sides copy of the driving licenses. For the truck
category, at least 2 crew members with heavy good vehicle
license
a copy of the vehicle’s registration documents;
a copy of the passports of each members of the crew;
a copy of the bank transfer of 1st down payment;
the authorization of loan from the owner of the vehicle if he is
not part of the crew;
5 photos of the vehicle entered (race, service, press): ¾ front
right, ¾ front left, ¾ rear right; ¾ rear left and one picture
indicating where finding the chassis and engine numbers (see
document “inbound China Formalities”
Votre engagement ne deviendra définitif qu’à réception de la
totalité des droits d’engagement.
L'ensemble de ces documents doit être envoyé par email au

En raison des contraintes administratives liées au passage
du Rallye en Chine, aucun changement de nom de

Tout concurrent souhaitant s’engager sur le Silk Way Rally
devra s’acquitter UNIQUEMENT des droits d’engagement
suivants. Pas de droits d’engagement supplémentaires pour
les véhicules.

CONDITIONS D'ANNULATION

REFUS DE DEPART
A la suite des vérifications administratives et techniques,
tout équipage se voyant refuser le départ pour non
conformité administrative ou technique, ne pourra prétendre
à aucun remboursement de ses frais d’engagement.
START REFUSED
Following the administrative checks and scrutineering, any
crew being refused to start further to administrative or
technical non-compliance, cannot claim for any refund of
their entry fees.
ANNULATION OU REPORT DE L’EPREUVE
Dans l’hypothèse où le départ du Rallye ne pourrait pas avoir
lieu, pour quelque motif que ce soit, l'Organisateur
de la course ne serait redevable envers les concurrents que
des montants perçus.
CANCELLATION OR REPORT OF THE EVENT
In the case where it proves impossible to run the event, for
whatever reasons, the Organizer of the race will be liable
only for funds paid.

(transfer fees at the charge of the payer) at the bank details

Only one invoice per team will be done after the rally at the
name and address of the payer, mentioning all the services
paid to the Organization of the Silk Way Rally.
In no case, the organization could invoice several persons or

SAFETY EQUIPMENTS
GPS, Iritrack, Balise, Tripy
La location de ces matériels de sécurité est incluse dans les
droits d'engagement. L'achat des kits de fixation et
accessoires de ces matériels est à la charge des concurrents.
Vous devez les commander directement auprès des
prestataires (bons de commande téléchargeables sur le site
internet).
Les kits devront impérativement être installés avant les
vérifications techniques et les branchements électriques
opérationnels.
Pour chaque matériel, une caution vous sera demandée par le
prestataire afin d'en garantir la restitution ou la réparation en
cas de dommage.
GPS, Iritrack, Distress beacon and Tripy
The rental of these safety equipments is included in the entry
fees. The purchase of the fitting kits or accessories of these
instruments is at the cost of competitors. You must order
them directly to the suppliers. (order forms to download on
the rally website).
Fitting kits must compulsorily be installed before
scrutineering and the electric connections must be
operational.
For each instrument, the supplier will ask for a deposit as a
guarantee for the return of the material or if repairs are
needed in case of damages.

Chaque participant en course (catégorie auto ou camion)
devra obligatoirement être en possession d’une licence
internationale Conducteur/Concurrent FIA 2016.
L’original de votre licence ainsi qu’une autorisation de courir
à l’étranger (art 70 du C.S.I) devront être présentées au plus
tard lors des vérifications administratives.
ASSURANCE
Each racing participant (car or truck category) must
compulsorily hold a 2016 International FIA competitor/driver
licence. The original of this licence as well as the
authorization to race abroad (art 70 C.S.I) must be presented
at the administrative checks at the latest.
INSURANCE
It is the competitors’ responsibility to ensure that their
vehicle insurance (green card) is valid and covers Russia,
Kazakhstan and China.

For most nationalities, a visa is compulsory to travel to
Russia, Kazakhstan and China. To get your visa, your
passport must be valid at least 6 months after the end of
your journey (end of January 2017) and have 3x2 blank side
by side pages.
How to get it:
Present an invitation letter
Present a medical insurance certificate
(Both documents will be supplied by the organization)
Fill in the visa application form (to be downloaded on the
website of the rally)
Give 3 original recent and “compliant” passport ID photos
(less than 6 months for the Russian visa. Be careful,
pictures are scanned and refused if they are over 6
months)

You wish to book hotel rooms for the start in Moscow, the
finish in Beijing or all along the rally, you can contact the

TRANSPORT
Le transport des véhicules et des concurrents n’est pas inclus
dans les droits d’engagement. Afin d’aider les concurrents,
des services annexes de transport depuis l’Europe à l’aller et
depuis la Chine au retour sont organisés. Pour l’ensemble des
solutions ci-dessous, merci de vous référer aux documents
« bon de commande transport » et « information transport »
pour effectuer vos réservations.

Transport «clé en main» aller/retour des voitures course et
assistance (uniquement les voitures !) :

Vehicle and competitor’s transportation is not included in the
registration fees. To help the competitors, organisers will set
up transportation services from Europe to Russia and back
