Planning

and efficiencies.
Stays current with legislation/regulations and funding programs/grants impacting (or

of stakeholders to optimize use/user experience.
Provides input to capital forecasts, master plans, community needs assessments and surveys

Interprets and administers Collective Agreements (if supervises unionized staff) in
consultation with HR and/or Director/Manager when required.

recreation programming and community development principles and practices; HIGH FIVE® certification; recreational facilities maintenance & operations; property management, parks &

budgeting and administrative processes, marketing methods, and contemporary staff
management practices.
General knowledge of local government and funding sources, and public sector procurement
practices.
