This TY trip to France is Tarbert Comprehensive School’s fifth “Échange Scolaire et Linguistique”; its success depends on the co-operation and full hearted participation of all of our students, their families and the school staff. The “Échange” is a unique opportunity for our students to experience and fully engage in the linguistic, cultural and everyday life of French families and French school life. We expect all our students to be positive and amenable to all the activities that have been organised for their stay in Mûr de Bretagne – the more open our students are to the “Échange Scolaire et Linguistique” the more they will benefit from this wonderful experience. We are all privileged to be organising and taking part in such a wonderful adventure. We ask that during our stay in France that you make contact with your child outside of school hours – before 9am and after 6pm. When calling/texting an Irish mobile abroad do not include the French prefix code. When dialling Ireland from France, the Irish prefix code is 00353. Drop the 0 from the area code or mobile prefix, eg 003536836105 OR 00353871844337. If for any reason you need to make contact with the supervising teachers in the course of our visit to France, we may be contacted at: 0871844337 or 0871844336 These numbers will also be given to all students travelling, so that they may contact us during our stay in France.
