Gala des Auxiliaires
Les Auxiliaires organisent une fête pour célébrer leur 70e anniversaire, la
soirée ReNaissance Gala : Revelry and Regalia, honorera sept décennies de
femmes à la présidence des Auxiliaires. Les profits du Gala seront versés au
Service d’obstétrique et de gynécologie, pour l’achat d’un système de
diagnostique d’écographie 3D. Le prix des billets commence à partir de
180 $ (90 $ pour les jeunes adultes de moins de 35 ans). Un reçu d’impôt
sera émis pour une portion du prix du billet.

Offices de Pâques
L’HGJ tiendra des offices de Pâques, le 18 avril à 11h, dans le Solarium
(Pavillon B, 6e étage). Tout le monde est la bienvenue.
Seder de la Pâque juive
L’HGJ tiendra le Seder de la Pâque juive dans la Cafétéria,
pour les patients et leur famille, le 12 avril à 19h20. Le Seder
est gratuit pour les patients et un (1) invité. Il en coûtera 12 $
pour chaque invité, ou visiteur, additionnel. Info/tickets: poste 4341.
Conférence – Comité d’éthique clinique
Le Comité d’Éthique clinique de l’HGJ présente « When Families and
Physician Disagree: Who Decides ? » avec le Dr Michael Bouhadana
(Service de Médecine familiale de l’HGJ). La conférence est ouverte au
personnel hospitalier.

Fermeture durant la Pâque juive
Veuillez noter que le Café de l’Atrium sera fermé pour la Pâque
juive, à partir du 10 avril, et réouvrira le 21 avril. Second Cup
fermera à 18h le 10 avril, et réouvrira le 21 avril. La Maison de la
Presse sera fermé les 13, 14, 19 et 20 avril.
Auxiliary Gala
In celebration of its 70th Anniversary, The Auxiliary is throwing a party!
ReNaissance Gala: Revelry and Regalia will honour seven decades of
Auxiliary Presidents and proceeds will be used to purchase a 3D ultrasound
diagnostic system for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Tickets start at $180 per person ($90 for young adults under 35). Partial tax
receipts will be issued.

Easter Service
The JGH will hold an Easter service on April 18 in the
Solarium (Pavilion B, 6th floor) at 11:00 a.m. Everyone is
welcome.
Passover Seder
The JGH will hold a Passover Seder for patients and their families on April
12 at 7:20 p.m. in the Cafeteria. The Seder is free for patients and one guest
per patient. Additional guests and visitors are welcome at a cost of $12 per

Clinical Ethics Rounds
The JGH Clinical Ethics Committee presents “When Families and
Physician Disagree: Who Decides?” with Dr. Michael Bouhadana (JGH
Department of Family Medicine). The rounds are open to all JGH staff.

Holiday Closures
Please note that the Café de l’Atrium will close for Passover on
April 10 and will reopen April 21. Second Cup will close at 6 p.m.

Passover Coffee Cart
Chariot à café durant Pâque juive
Un chariot à café, cacher pour la Pâque juive, sera ouvert dans A Passover coffee cart will be available in the Atrium on April 11,
l’Atrium les 11, 12 ,17, 18, 19 et 20 avril, entre 7h30 et 13h30. 12, 17, 18, 19 and 20. The cart will offer coffee, juice, sandwiches,
pastries and more between 7:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Geraldine Matthews a été nommée, le 3 avril, au poste de coordonnatrice
des Soins infirmiers, Unité des soins intensifs. Vous pouvez la rejoindre au

Imprimerie – Mise à jour
Des instructions générales pour remplir les nouveaux formulaires de réquisition d’imprimerie, ainsi qu’une liste sommaire des prix, sont maintenant

Service des bénévoles : un rappel
Nous rappelons au personnel hospitalier que tous les bénévoles doivent
être inscrits auprès du Service des bénévoles de l’HGJ. Le bénévole est
défini comme étant celui qui travaille à l’hôpital sans rémunération
pécuniaire, y compris ceux qui travaillent à la recherche (étudiants) et les
stagiaires (internes).
Les bénévoles doivent avoir au moins 16 ans et être disponibles, à offrir
leurs services, pour une période minimale de 3 mois.
Nous accueillons constamment des bénévoles. Après une entrevue, les
nouvelles recrues sont placées selon leurs habilités, intérêts personnels et
disponibilités, afin de répondre aux besoins des différents services de
l’hôpital. Si vous connaissez une personne qui souhaite devenir bénévole à
l’HGJ, veuillez la diriger vers le Service des bénévoles (salle A-033, poste
5984), pour obtenir une entrevue avec la directrice.
Cette politique est en vigueur pour assurer la sécurité du personnel
hospitalier, des patients, des visiteurs et de tous les bénévoles. Votre
coopération est grandement appréciée.
Semaine des bibliothèques

Défi Corporatif Canderel
Le Défi Corporatif Canderel, une course « pour le plaisir » à travers les
rues du centre-ville de Montréal, amasse d’importantes sommes pour la
recherche pour le cancer pour l’Université McGill et l’Université de
Montréal. Ne manquez pas l’occasion de marcher dans cette 17e course
annuelle, qui aura lieu vendredi 5 mai, à midi. Pour faire un don, ou pour

Department of Volunteer Services: A Reminder
This is a reminder to staff members that all volunteers must be registered by
the JGH Department of Volunteer Services. A volunteer is defined as any
person who works within the hospital without monetary remuneration, and
extends to research workers (students) and stagiaires (interns).
Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age and available to perform
volunteer service for a minimum period of three months.
New volunteers are welcomed on an ongoing basis. Following a screening
process, new recruits are placed, according to skills, abilities, personal
interest and availability, to help meet the needs of the various hospital
departments. If you know someone who is interested in becoming a JGH
volunteer, kindly refer him/her to the Department of Volunteer Services
(A-033, local 5984) to schedule an interview with the Director.
The above policy is observed to ensure the safety and security of all staff,
patients, visitors and volunteers. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Défi Corporatif Canderel
The annual Défi Corporatif Canderel, a “fun run” through the streets of
downtown Montreal, raises much-needed funds for cancer research at
McGill University and Université de Montréal. Don’t miss the chance to
