PROJECT
The main goal of the project is to discuss, exchange and
brainstorm about citizenship. « What does it mean to be an
active citizen on the local – national and european level ?
During this week we will discover different forms of engagement
and active citizenship in different european countries. This all
will happen in intercultural atmosphere, nonfromal and creative
way. The participants will participate actively during all the
project. The final outcome of the project is organisation of
CItizenship Forum at the City Hall of Nîmes with presence of
local, national and European representatives.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
HOW TO ARRIVE TO NÎMES?
PLANE
The fastest and the most comfortable way is to arrive by plane. The closest
international airport is Marseille Provence airport. From the airport you can take
the navette to the train station Marseille Vitrolles, from which there is a direct
connection to Nîmes.
We advise you to check your connnection to these airports:
Bordeaux Mérignac
Paris (Chrles de Gaulle, Beauvais)
Lyon Saint-Exupéry
Montpellier Mediterranee

Nîmes has really good train connection with Paris, Lyon and Montpellier.

TRAVEL COSTS
Your travel costs will be fully reimbursed up to amont of 170 EUR.
Participants are kindly asked to send your invoices ASAP to enable
us to distribute the reimbursment in the most appropriate way for
all participants.
PARTICIPATION FEE
Every participant will have to pay a participation fee of 50€
THE ROLE OF PARTICIPANTS
This project is not about us, but about YOU! Your active participation, ideas and
enthusiasm will be the crucial part of the EuroCamp!

are asked to bring some national specialities
(food, sweets, drinks) to share with others:)
WORKING LANGUAGES
The working laguage will be English and some language animations will take
place to learn and practice French. The participants should be able to communicate in English and maybe to understand French at basic level.

This project is open to young people who are living in on of this following
countries : France, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia,
United-Kingdom.
