FONCTIONS : Sous l’autorité du supérieur immédiat, prépare et stérilise la lingerie, l’eau, le matériel
et les équipements nécessaires pour le bon fonctionnement de l’unité de soins, de la clinique et de
tout autre service au besoin. De plus, le titulaire aura à accomplir diverses fonctions telles que,
commis pour l’unité de soins, la clinique et le service de liaison en ce qui a trait à l’approvisionnement
des stocks de matériel et de formulaires. Le titulaire pourrait être également appelé à remplacer et/ou
aider la réceptionniste et le service aux patients.
EXIGENCES :
• Doit détenir un diplôme de fin d’études secondaires et une attestation d’étude collégiale en
technique de stérilisation
• Expérience pertinente en stérilisation
• Formation sur la décontamination du matériel
• Connaissance acquise pour manipuler des appareils et équipement de stérilisation dans le
respect des normes ACNOR et des lignes directrices du CPRS
• Bilinguisme (anglais, français) parlé et écrit
• Connaissance en instrumentation médicale serait un atout
• Sens des responsabilités; sens de l’organisation; autonomie et entregent

FUNCTIONS:
Under the authority of the Head Nurse, prepare and sterilize linens, water, material and necessary
equipment for the proper care of the hospital department, clinic and all other related services, when
necessary. Mover over, this person will have other tasks such as clerk for the department, clinic and
liaison office regarding ordering of material and supplies. He/she may also be called upon to
replace/help the receptionist and patient services.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Must have a High School Diploma and an Attestation of Collegial Studies in sterilization technique
• Pertinent experience as Sterilization Attendant
• Training in material decontamination
• Acquired knowledge for manipulation of sterilization machines and equipment, in respect of
ACNOR norms and CPRS guidelines.
• Bilingual (English, French) spoken and written
• Knowledge of medical instruments an asset
• Sense of responsibility and organization
• Autonomous and good humored
