PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE FITTING YOUR MOUTHGUARD.
WARNING These mouthguards are designed to be worn on the upper teeth and must be fitted as instructed to function properly.
A damaged, altered or improperly fitted mouthguard will not provide the same protection.
THESE PRODUCTS ARE NOT FOR USE WITH BRACES. IF YOU WEAR BRACES, USE THE UNDER ARMOUR BRACES MOUTHGUARD.
Fitting Instructions: Boiled Water
What you need for a proper and safe fitting: Under Armour ArmourBite® or ArmourShield® mouthguard, pot for boiling water with 4 inches of
water to completely submerge the mouthguard, bowl of cold tap water, slotted spoon, mirror and a clock or watch with second hand.
1. Bring water to boil. CAUTION Boiling water is hot and can cause injury. Adult supervision is required.
2. Remove boiling water from the heat source.
3. Insert the Strap in the front slot of the mouthguard.
4. Holding the end of the strap carefully submerge the Under Armour mouthguard in the hot water for 90 seconds.
5.Holding the end of the strap carefully remove the mouthguard from the hot water and place mouthguard in cold water to cool for no more than 3 seconds.
CAUTION Before placing the mouthguard into your mouth, test its temperature with the tip of your finger. The mouthguard should
be at a warm and comfortable temperature.
6. Using a mirror, carefully place the mouthguard in your mouth, lining up the “notch” in the center of the mouthguard with the center of your front teeth.
7. Bite down naturally on the Under Armour mouthguard and contour the material to your teeth and gums by sliding and pressing your
fingertips inside your mouth or against your cheeks.
8. With a strong sucking action, create a vacuum chamber effect and draw out all the air and water. Use your thumb against the roof of your mouth to smooth down the palate area behind your front teeth.
9. Continue contouring the Under Armour mouthguard with your fingertips.
10.After 1 minute remove the Under Armour mouthguard and place in bowl of cold water for 5 minutes.
11.If using the mouthguard as a strapless version, remove the strap and insert provided ArmourPlate®.
DENTAL LIMITED WARRANTY
CERTIFICATE OF LIMITED WARRANTY AND DISCLAIMER
WARRANTY: Bite Tech, Inc. (Bite Tech) warrants this mouthguard to be free from defects in material and workmanship which could cause damage or injury
to the sound, natural teeth of the purchaser herein when properly fitted and used for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Bite Tech’s obligation under this warrant shall be limited to the actual costs incurred by the user for necessary dental treatment
by an appropriately licensed dental professional, up to a maximum liability of $500 per injured or replaced tooth and with a maximum liability per
incident of $32,500. Bite Tech’s obligation shall be reduced by any insurance coverage available to the user and applicable to the treatment of the injury
claimed. This limited warranty does not provide payment or indemnify for orthodontic treatments or preparation of a tooth to be used as an anchor for a bridge.
The remedies set forth herein are exclusive and the total liability of Bite Tech with respect to use of this mouthguard, whether based
on contract, warranty, negligence, indemnification, strict liability or otherwise. In no event shall Bite Tech be liable for consequential,
incidental or special damages.
CONDITIONS: This limited warranty applies only to injuries to the purchaser’s teeth that are free from any preexisting natural or unnatural defect, including
prior dental work. This limited warranty only applies if the purchaser suffered a dental injury in a supervised athletic contest or coach-supervised training
session. Bite Tech shall have no responsibility or liability here under, unless:
1. The mouthguard was fitted in accordance with the printed instructions accompanying the mouthguard; and
2. The mouthguard was not damaged or altered in any way, whether by chewing on the mouthguard or by other action to alter its configuration or
chemistry (other than by the proscribed fitting), except as occurs by normal use; and
3. A complete, written notice of the injury and damage, together with a copy of the receipt of purchase, is received by Bite Tech within thirty (30) days
after the occurrence of the injury; and
4. The user provides a written statement from an appropriately licensed dentist providing necessary treatment within thirty (30) days after the date of injury that substantiates the injury, damage and treatment provided; and
5. The user provides a statement by a supervising coach or participating game official that the mouthguard was in proper use at the time of injury; and
6. The applicable mouthguard is returned to Bite Tech with the written notice of injury. The mouthguard shall become the property of Bite Tech upon
receipt of return.
NO MOUTHGUARD CAN PREVENT ALL INJURIES OR ALL DENTAL DAMAGE AND NO SUCH WARRANTY IS BEING MADE. THIS WARRANTY
IS MADE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTY FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY ARISING OUT OF A COURSE OF A DEALING, CUSTOM, USAGE OR TRADE. EXCEPT
AS IS OTHERWISE EXPRESSLY PROVIDED HEREIN, BITE TECH DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY FOR LOSS, INJURY OR DAMAGE BASED UPON
NEGLIGENT DESIGN OR DEFECTS IN MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP FOR THE WITHIN MOUTHGUARD.

Consignes d’ajustement – eau bouillante
Matériel nécessaire pour un ajustement adéquat et sécuritaire : le protège-dents ArmourShieldMD ou ArmourBiteMD d’Under Armour, une
casserole remplie de 4 pouces d’eau bouillante pour y plonger complètement le protège-dents, un bol d’eau froide, une cuillère à rainures et
un miroir, ainsi qu’une horloge ou une montre dotée d’une aiguille pour les secondes.
1. Amenez l’eau à ébullition. MISE EN GARDE : L’eau bouillante peut causer des blessures. La surveillance d’un adulte est requise.
2. Retirez l’eau bouillante de la source de chaleur.
3. Insérez la courroie dans la fente avant du protège-dents.
4. Tenez l’extrémité de la courroie et plongez doucement le protège-dents d’Under Armour dans l’eau bouillante pendant 90 secondes.
5. Retirez délicatement le protège-dents de l’eau chaude en tenant l’extrémité de la courroie, puis placez-le dans l’eau froide pour le refroidir pendant un maximum de 3 secondes.
MISE EN GRADE : Avant de mettre le protège-dents dans votre bouche, vérifiez sa température du bout des doigts. Il devrait être tiède, à une température confortable.
6. À l’aide d’un miroir, placez soigneusement le protège-dents dans votre bouche en alignant l’encoche centrale de l’appareil avec le centre de vos
dents frontales.
7. Mordez de façon naturelle dans le protège-dents d’Under Armour et recouvrez vos dents et vos gencives du matériel en glissant et en appuyant avec
le bout de vos doigts sur l’intérieur de votre bouche ou en effectuant une pression sur l’extérieur de vos joues.
8. Par une forte succion, créez un effet de vide et retirez l’air et l’eau. Appuyez votre pouce sur la paroi supérieure de votre bouche pour rendre lisse la région du palais qui se trouve derrière vos dents frontales.
9. Continuez à recouvrir vos dents avec le protège-dents d’Under Armour en utilisant le bout de vos doigts.
10.Retirez-le après 1 minute et déposez-le dans un bol d’eau froide pendant 5 minutes.
11.Si vous souhaitez utiliser une version du protège-dents sans courroie, retirez cette dernière et insérez l’accessoire ArmourPlateMD fourni.

GARANTIE : Bite Tech, Inc. (Bite Tech) garantit ce protège-dents contre tout défaut matériel ou de fabrication susceptible de causer des dommages ou des lésions aux dents
saines et naturelles de l’acheteur aux présentes lorsqu’il est ajusté et utilisé adéquatement pendant un (1) an à compter de la date d’achat.
LIMITATION DE RESPONSABILITÉ : L’obligation de Bite Tech en vertu de la présente garantie se limite aux coûts effectivement engagés par l’utilisateur pour le traitement
dentaire nécessaire effectué par un dentiste agréé, jusqu’à concurrence d’un montant maximal de 500 $ par dent endommagée ou remplacée et de 32 000 $ par incident.
L’obligation de Bite Tech est minorée en fonction du montant de la couverture d’assurance de l’utilisateur applicable au traitement des blessures faisant l’objet d’une réclamation.
La garantie limitée ne prévoit aucun paiement ou indemnisation pour les traitements orthodontiques ou la préparation d’une dent destinée à être utilisée comme point d’ancrage
pour un pont dentaire.
Les recours prévus par les présentes sont exclusifs et représentent la responsabilité totale de Bite Tech pour ce qui est de l’utilisation de ce protège-dents,
qu’elle soit fondée sur un contrat, une garantie, la négligence, une indemnisation, la responsabilité absolue ou sur toute autre théorie du droit. Quoi qu’il
en soit, Bite Tech ne saurait être tenue responsable de dommages-intérêts indirects, consécutifs ou spéciaux.
CONDITIONS : Cette garantie limitée s’applique uniquement aux lésions causées aux dents de l’acheteur qui étaient préalablement exemptes d’anomalies naturelles ou non, y
compris les soins dentaires préalables. Cette garantie limitée s’applique uniquement si l’acheteur a subi une lésion dentaire dans le cadre d’une compétition sportive encadrée ou
une séance d’entraînement sous la supervision d’un entraîneur. Bite Tech ne saurait nullement être tenue responsable à quelque titre aux termes des présentes, sauf dans le cas
qui suit.

Le protège-dents a été ajusté conformément aux directives imprimées qui accompagnent le protège-dents; et
le protège-dents n’a pas été endommagé ou altéré de quelque manière, que ce soit par le mâchonnement du protège-dents ou toute autre action entraînant une
modification de sa configuration ou de sa composition (autre que le processus d’ajustement recommandé), sauf dans le cas d’une utilisation normale; et
un avis écrit et complet détaillant la lésion et les dommages ainsi qu’une copie de la preuve d’achat sont reçus par Bite Tech dans les trente (30) jours suivant la
survenance de la blessure; et
l’utilisateur fournit, dans les trente (30) jours suivant la date de la blessure, une déclaration écrite par le dentiste agréé qui a dispensé le traitement requis comportant
des preuves à l’appui de la lésion, des dommages et du traitement prodigué; et
l’utilisateur fournit une déclaration d’un entraîneur qui était chargé de la supervision de l’activité sportive ou d’un officiel en service lors de la rencontre sportive stipulant que le protège-dents était utilisé adéquatement au moment de la blessure; et
le protège-dents applicable est retourné à Bite Tech avec l’avis écrit détaillant la blessure. Le protège-dents deviendra la propriété de Bite Tech dès la réception du produit.
