AIM of Recycling chemistry Lectures of Marcoule
Aim : Understand and master in practice the three basic steps of recycling :
Dissolution, separation and material reformation
The lectures will be in French, with slides in (English ),
slides available in the morning before on the web site of ICSM
Core : separation chemistry involving one fluid state : liquid-liquid , liquid-solid or liquidinterface (flotation, chromatography…)
Side aspects concern fragmentation in divided state, dissolution and reforming material
5 scientific disciplines are involved :





chemical engineering (and processes)
physical chemistry
analytical chemistry
statistical thermodynamics
safety and environmental issues
The physical chemistry lectures consist in three modules, delivered over two years (ON Thursdays
after Lunch November-March, ie when winter time applies) :
En route to ienaics

Kinetics and Dynamical methods
The lectures will be associated to invited conferences 45 minutes including discussion
The lectures will be held in Salle Balard at INSTN/Marcoule via video-link in Montpellier.
