Es kombiniert einen sehr leichten Spulenaufbau mit klassischer Großmembrantechnik. Dadurch kann es sehr tiefe Frequenzen aufnehmen und verfügt gleichzeitig über eine hohe Impulstreue. Der erweiterte Bassbereich und die Dämpfung der mittleren Frequenzen erzeugen ein sehr weiches Klangbild und machen Korrekturen am Equalizer überflüssig. Das Mikrofon kann selbst bei sonst problematischen niederfrequenten Schallquellen direkt eingesetzt werden.
