A Tinzaouaten, des centaines d’être humains tentent de survivre aux violences des trafiquants. Ils
essaient de demeurer humains après avoir vécu la déshumanisation subie depuis le lieu de leur
arrestation jusqu’à cet endroit, qu’ils surnomment «l’antichambre du diable». Leur tort ? Avoir
tenté la migration vers l’Europe et avoir été refoulés depuis le sol européen, ou depuis l’Algérie, le
Maroc ou la Libye.

[FR] Inquiétudes après le placement en rétention des migrants arrivés en Corse
Le HCR a appelé Paris à « s’assurer que toutes les personnes » arrivées clandestinement en Corse
puissent demander l’asile et bénéficier d’un « examen complet et équitable » de leur situation.
Toutefois, les 124 personnes ont été aussitôt placées en rétention, dans différents centres.
Plusieurs associations, dont la Cimade, France Terre d’asile… sont très critiques face à un si rapide
placement en centre de rétention, et dénonce une atteinte au droit des migrants.

République de Chypre pour ne pas avoir protégé en 2001, Rantseva Oxana. De nationalité russe et
âgée de 20 ans, cette jeune femme avait trouvé la mort après avoir sauté du balcon d’un

[FR] Détention carcérale pour les demandeurs d’asile en Autriche
Voici un article relatant la polémique actuelle en Autriche concernant l’accueil des demandeurs
d’asile. L’Etat ne saurait plus où les loger et envisage des hypothèses de type carcéral : casernes
désaffectées, ou autres infrastructures situées à la frontières. Des juristes se sont joints aux
débats et soupèsent la question de savoir si une éventuelle révision de la Constitution pourrait
permettre de détenir les demandeurs d’asile, et dans un second temps, si d’invoquer le risque de
migration secondaire dans un autre Etat européen pourrait justifier leur détention sous l’angle de
l’article 5 de la convention européenne des droits de l’homme.

seekers. A project to build a new open center for asylum seekers in the town of Eberau has failed.

La loi du 18 mars 2003 a introduit la sanction des prostituées pour "racolage passif". Elle autorise
aussi la police à menacer d'expulsion les étrangères, pour les contraindre à dénoncer leurs
proxénètes. L'auteur décrit "les méfaits" d'une telle mesure sur ces femmes, dans une ville
comme Lyon où son association leur vient en aide. Pour autant, l'oppression subie en France leur

[FR] La mairie de Roquemaure expulse des familles démunis, dont des Rroms, de logement
d’urgence : ils dorment dans leurs voitures par -8° !
Ce week-end, face à l’alerte météo, Christian et les familles Rroms ont été provisoirement pris en
charge par les services sociaux de la mairie. Les familles Rroms ont été hébergées dans le gymnase
municipal avec les autres sinistrés, et Christian Delmas en maison médicalisée. Le suivi de cette
lutte sur le site de l’association Halem.
