CISM International parachuting tournament, from June 29th to July 3rd, 2016 in the central
part of Switzerland
We will organize again a CISM accuracy parachute competition for a preselected number of
8-10 teams and have the honor to invite a delegation of your country to participate. We invite
you on an exclusive and selective basis to participate to this tournament, which will be held in
a unique environment in the center of Switzerland at the lake of Zurich and central part of
Switzerland, lake of Lucerne and alps in Meiringen. The CISM tournament will rotate within
up to 10 different landing zones with unique landing spots which demands precision and flexibility by the competitors. The competition will start in Alpnach (central part of Switzerland,
near Lucerne) and will end in the City of Zurich.
Regarding the conditions of participation we refer to the info sheets (annex 1).

CISM Championnat international de parachutisme du 29 juin au 3ème juillet 2016 dans
la partie centrale de la Suisse
Nous allons à nouveau organiser une compétition de parachutisme du CISM en précision
d’atterrissage pour un nombre présélectionné de 8-10 équipes et nous avons l’honneur
d'inviter une délégation de votre pays à y participer. Nous vous invitons sur une base exclusive et sélective de participer à cette compétition, qui aura lieu dans un environnement
unique dans le centre de la Suisse au bord du lac de Zurich et dans la Suisse centrale, au
bord du lac de Lucerne et les alpes à Meiringen. La compétition du CISM se déroule dans 10
différentes zones d'atterrissage avec des tâches uniques qui exigent la précision et la flexibilité des concurrents. La compétition débutera à Alpnach (partie centrale de la Suisse, près
de Lucerne) et se terminera dans la ville de Zurich.

Pour mettre en avant la qualité des
participants aux publiques, les zones
d’atterrissage vont changer durant la
compétition. La compétition va commencer dans la région de Nidwalden
sur l’aéroport militaire d’Alpnach, va
continuer dans les cantons Lucerne,
Berne et va se terminer dans la ville
de Zurich. La ville de Zurich a organisé une grande fête pendant deux
jours. Si possible, nous aimerions
intégrer des sauts dans le lac à la fête
de la ville de Zurich (selon
l’autorisation final de l’organisateur).
In order to demonstrate the skills of
the competitors next to the public, the

A11 Order of the landing zones (drop zones)


The drop zones will change during the competition.
The order of the landing zones will be announced and decided by the meet director.
A12 Jump Order



Before the first round drawing of the start number of the teams will be at discretion of the organizer.
After the first round the organizer tries to accommodate the starting numbers along the classification.
However, depending on the evolvement of the competition and transport time, changes in the starting orders might occur.
A13 Meet specialties of the competition „Swiss Precision 2016” Zürich“ => „Rotation of drop zones“




The competition jumps will occur in different drop zones
The meet director fixes the „time windows“, which means that in every location one will have only a limited time window of several hours.
The meet director will try his best to finish each specific competition round within the same time window.
However the meet director can decide in cases where needed, to continue a non-finished competition
round in any of the other locations, which means a non-finished round could be completed in any other
location in the new time window to be fixed. The same rules applies for re-jumps.
A14 “Take off” and “landing” zone might be in long distance – no time limitation


Embarkment from the packing zone to the airport and the landing zone is not restricted any more with
any time limit.
Take-off and landing zones might be in a long distance that is why competitors might be for a longer time
period away from the specific landing zones. In some cases it might be that the competitors will not be in
a position to see the landing zone before the specific jump. The meet director however will undertake all
efforts for providing all available information on winds as well other relevant information to the competitors.
A15 Swim west – landing on floating targets


Certain landing zones will be on floating barks, or will be located next to lakes or rivers.
Competitors are advised to bring along their own swim west.

COMMITMENT BY THE CHIEF OF MISSION
The undersigned, Chief of Mission declare that he has read the Article 7.30. of the CISM Regulation and moreover
understood the following prescriptions:
A. Chief of Mission
1. Chiefs of Mission shall be familiar with CISM regulations.
2. Missions must not only participate or be present at sports events, they are also required to participate in information
conferences on CISM, study days, commemorative and cultural events and ceremonies organized by the host nation.
B. Conduct of a mission
1. The Chief of Mission is responsible for the behavior of his team in sports and general discipline. He shall ensure
that members of his mission respect the rules and directives prescribed by CISM and organizers of the championship.
The respect of schedules is particularly important as they form the basis for the effective conduct of competitions and
ceremonies. Instances of indiscipline or poor sportsmanship will be handled by Championship officials and may result
in the disqualification of individual athletes or teams.
2. The Chief of Mission shall also enforce the rules concerning behavior and dress during the ceremonies. He plays
an important role in promoting the CISM spirit among his mission, a spirit represented by friendly attitude towards
other missions, courtesy towards organizers and fair-play in competition. The mission, who does not wear military
uniforms during the opening ceremony of a Championship, will not be authorised to take part in the Championship.
The Official CISM Representative will communicate this decision.
3. In conformity with the Statutes and traditions of CISM, any political or religious action during a CISM event, in particular the dissemination of propaganda documents, pictures, brochures, reviews, etc, is strictly forbidden. Any contravention shall result in the exclusion of the mission from further competition.
