Welcome to Dublin, Ireland. Tourism has come to a turning point; all of us,
business travellers like this week at the Dublin Web Summit, or leisure travelers
with our partners, friends, family, seek a different experience when we visit
a city, for the first time or as a repeat visitor.
That’s why we, at the Tourist in Paris, want to make visiting a city a more local
and personal experience, providing you with insights and tips to make you
spend your time in similar fashion to the locals, and making sure that
your time on the ground matches your desires.
Locals share insights between themselves all the time. It is time to share
this deep knowledge of the town with the world. The Tourist in Paris is your best
friend who moved a few years ago and is now welcoming you in his new
town, knowing exactly what you want to do, see, where to eat and hang out.
Here’s a sneak peak of what we want to do, in this special edition of
« The Tourist in Dublin ». Do you consider yourself a healthy person, or
someone who follows trends - maybe both? - but definitely not a party
person? You still want to enjoy a nice pint in a pub, though?
We have recommendations and tips for you, and for everyone else,
depending on these criteria.
Unlike many tourist guides or websites, you won’t have to sift through endless
lists of all the things you can do that are intended for a wide audience,
no matter who you are and where you’re from. We, at The Tourist in Paris,
have made a selection for you. Trust us, you’ll have the best time possible.
And the recommendations are not the same for the English and the French
pages - of course not. You are not looking at a platform telling you what to do.
We are the ones asking you what you want to do.
So please feel free to give us your feedback of your « Tourist in Dublin »
experience. We have to get to know you better to improve what we do.
Enjoy your stay!

Be trendy
in Dublin
Network in two
trendy restaurants
next to Google
headquarters
This week in Dublin is about meeting people from
all over the world and network with them to make
your company look more appealing. Better to do it
while eating. If you consider yourself to be a trendy
entrepreneur, head to The Bath Bar on Bath Avenue.
A meeting point for a multicultural crowd as it
is located 500 meters away from the Google and
Facebook headquarters. Right accross the street is
Farmer Browns, another restaurant known for its
stylish clientele who come to enjoy its breakfasts,
lunches and dinners. Network at anytime of the day.

Have A drink oN Fade Street,
the can’t-miss road
A few pints but a bite as well! On the rooftop of Fade St Social or
inside the original red-brick wall Market bar, enjoy while sipping
a cocktail (this is where the Twitter party will take place on Tuesday,
for the happy few invited). In between, “The Bar with no name” is a
gorgeous place with an excellent service. More chill than the two others.

Hang out in trendy South William Street
Parallel to Fade Street, there’s the very lively South William Street. Head to Metro café (43 South William),
the Parisian look-a-like coffee and then have a look at what the Loft Market has to offer if you want to bring back
home a fancy vintage piece of clothing. If you’re more East London style, go have a coffee in an industrial setting
at Fumbally on Fumbally Lane, a bit south of Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, by walking down New St S.

In very active Fade Street (see the trendy

A rather quiet piece, kind of a mysterious
and relaxed atmosphere. A secrative
bar for important network meetings.

The chill parks
and strolls
If the weather let you hang outside,
local Dubliners like to take a walk
at the Phoenix Park, on the West
side of the city. Also, head North to
the Royal Canal, for a silent (biking)
retreat away from the crowds for
your chilliest stroll of the week.
For a more classic but still beautiful
walk, visit the Trinity college
campus; it’s a must-see.
Finally, head South to Herbert Park
for a magical countryside escape.

We believe that recruitment
is as much of a science as
it is an art.
Launched in Nantes in June
2014 by Vincent Alvo and
Yann Cocatrix, Busybee
is a platform dedicated to
inventors.
Searching the right person is like
building a bridge. AssessFirst
leverage the power of Big Data and
People Analytics to help companies
make Smart Recruitment Decisions. How does it work? The core element of our solution is
an online assessment application.
Combined with predictive analytics
it becomes an extremely powerful
tool to bring recruitment to the next
level! We analyze great deal of
performance indicators and build
predictive models for each specific
job. Candidates complete series
of online evaluations and
our application does its magic:
all candidates are compared
against the predictive model.
Assessment results are presented
in a very comprehensive way. Results of the candidate’s analysis
against the predictive model are
presented in a Recruitment Report.
This report indicates the match
between the candidate and the job.
To verify suggested discrepancies
report contains a set of questions
that help recruiters conduct a much
more structured and much more
focused interview. 12 languages, 1.500 clients, 5.000
users, 2.500.000 evaluations passed.

Discovering good books
isn’t easy.
The choice can be overwhelming.
And we don’t all have time to read
book reviews.
That’s why we invented Book
Weather. A book guide on
smartphone to help everyone
discover good books the easy way.
Why weather?
We wanted a guide that reflects
what people are reading right now.
That changes, like the weather.
Each book’s temperature rating
reflects how many people in the
Book Weather community own it,
are reading it, like it or have added
it to their top list.
And it’s designed for real life.
If you’re in a bookstore, or at
someone’s house peeking at their
shelves. To see how a book is rated,
you can just scan the bar code.
If you’re looking for inspiration, you
can see which books are trending
across the community. And which
ones your friends like.
We made Book Weather because
we love reading.
It’s healthy break from the Internet.
We don’t care what you read.
Or whether you prefer paper or
ebooks. We just want to make sure
that we all keep doing it. Hopefully
Book Weather is a tiny step towards
keeping reading alive.
Inventors themselves, founders
quickly understood the difficulties
and challenges when working on
a hardware start-up. Crowdfunding
has become almost essential for
creators all over the world. However,
even successfully funded projects
face difficulties to materialise and
market their product.
That’s why in addition to crowdfunding,
Busybee gives practical advices
to makers at each step of
development. Where many
people stumble over legal and
administrative complications,
Busybee’s support gives inventors
the mean to achieve their goal.
Like, share ideas, earn money!
Like every crowdfunding platform,
Busybee rewards contributors
according to the amount backed
(special thanks, goodies, pre-sells, ...).
But ideas are rewarded too! The
community is not forgotten. 5%
gross revenue are distributed to the
members of the community who
contributed (designed a logo, voted
for a name or took a survey…).
From engineering to crowdfunding
campaign to marketing, the
Busybee’s team provides personal
support to creators.

Coworkgames is the
platform of good deals
dedicated to self-employed
people.
Let’s say you just bought
a new car for you and
your family, to go to work
and drive your children to
school.
A self-employed, whether he is
an entrepreneur, a freelance,
a coworker accesses a catalog of
products/services directly on our
platform. Prices of products and/or
services are directly negotiated with
our partners. You will find some that
are directly assigned to assist in
the development of their business:
for tech, web services, office supplies
etc. And others are more general
discounts. Today, we count as CE
partners: HP, Hertz, Asterix park,
Center Park, Wonderbox, Darty etc.
Soon, in addition to these features,
any user will be able contact
a self employed registered on the
platform to share their experiences
or simply ask for a helping hand
on a particular topic. A job board
is being prepared to allow them to
post their job vacancies (freelance,
stage ...) or respond to an offer.
Web resources will be made freely
available: models applications,
icons, fonts ...
Clearly, this is a fun project that
aims to allow independent workers
access to any benefits companies
with more than 50 employees and
can afford to offer their employees,
but also to encourage and assist in
the development of their business.
When we share experiences
with people, lots of pictures
and videos are taken by
everyone, but they all use
their own smartphone
individualy.
And then, when back home, they
keep these media in their pocket,
without sharing them with the others.
Crossroad app allows small groups
of people to sync and enrich
all their media from a shared
experience (wedding / party /
family meal / birthday / ...).
Core features:
- Automagically
- Simple and aesthetic display of the
shared album: the Crossbook
- Media enrichment and creation of
personal statistics
- Easy sharing on social media +

When students organize parties,
they often do so in a contributory
and participatory way: everyone
brings something, or if there’s a
designated buyer, participants
either give the money in advance
or refund the buyer afterwards.
Aside from the expense, party
planning can also be time consuming.
Organizing a party has, therefore,
three unacceptable uncertainties:
1/ You need to know how many
guests will attend the party;
2/ We must «pass the hat»;
3/ You need to allocate time to go
shopping and then transport the goods.
The founders have designed and
implemented an innovative service
through a connected social
networking web platform that
facilitates the organization of parties.
The website www.efiester.com:
- simplifies the management of
invitations;
- effectively handles cost sharing
among participants;
- allows guests to see what has
already been ordered, thus
avoiding duplicate purchases;
- frees the party host from having
to collect money, as guests can
contribute online;
- discharges the host from sole
responsibility of making all party
purchases;
- offers delivery service.
«She would love that jacket !»
We often think about friends and
loved ones while shopping.
Fitt is the best and easiest way to let
them know about it. All you have to
do is take a picture, select the name
of the store, and fitt it ! Your mutual
friends will see it in their news feed
and can comment, approve and
share it!

How would two candidates with
similar skills be differentiated ?
By their «hobbies» : reading, cinema
or horse riding ? Let’s be serious.
CV is not enough to determine how
talented a candidate is for any
company.
The right way to separate one
candidate from another and to do
so objectively, would be to consider
their personality as well, through
proven methods.
Monkey tie ® is an online highly
qualitative recruitment platform for
candidates and recruiters, with a
strong focus on social innovation,
bringing value and self confidence
to the candidates.
By factoring into its search engine
the candidate’s CV, psychological

to efficiently filter applicants with
the highest compatibility, and allows
candidates to better target their

Noospher was launched
on October 2014 by
Jean-Sébastien Wallez,
Alexandre Guigues,
Laurent Allard and
Christophe Salvadori —
four friends who wanted
a more simple and friendly
way to share their ideas.
Nunki is a free iPhone app
that reinvents the way you
get your favorite news taking you into the heart
of the action.
At Reputation VIP we
enable companies, brands
and high-level executives
to control their online
reputation.
Unlike traditional newsreaders, Nunki
gathers geolocalized social posts
in order to let you discover what’s
going on in the world as if you were
there in real time.
Using unique technology,
our experts help customers create,
positively influence and protect
their brand image on search
engines. Founded in 2012,
Reputation VIP has a team of
25 people and has won several
innovation awards (JEI, Novacité in
France and other innovation funds).
Their solution was Noospher,
a website that lets its users launch
suggestion boxes and suggest ideas.
If you ever experienced the sort of
frustration of having an idea,
a suggestion, for your city,
your company or your favorite app,
and not knowing what to do with it...
That’s the problem Noospher is
trying to solve.
So what is Noospher?
Noospher is a single place for all
the ideas. A website that let’s
everyone launch suggestion boxes
and suggest ideas, for free!
For instance, every city could launch
its suggestion box on Noospher.
That way, if anybody thinks about
making a crosswalk where there
is a dangerous place, they can
drop their idea, from their mobile or
their computer, directly in the city’s
suggestion box.
You can now launch your box or
suggest your ideas for free at
www.noospher.com
Nunki gets everything you need
to know, from the most incredible
contents to the most astonishing
stories at your fingertips.
Thanks to Nunki you can now follow
breaking news, live entertainment,
sporting events and so much more
through real-time posts from the
people who are in the midst of
the event. Why are we building this?
We grew up on our own media,
from Nickelodeon to MTV.
Now it’s on to news but nothing
really fitted our expectations.
The digital age transformed
the who, the what, and the onwhat
of the media consumption and
we believe that social media is
revolutionizing the news industry
in the content production process
as well as in the distribution one.
So we thought about what we really
wanted to use on a daily basis and
we made it. Please join us on nunki.
co, the more the merrier folks !
For the B2B market we have
developed a unique technology
called Digital Fortress.
Through daily analysis of Google
algorithms this solution allows us
to promote positive results to
the first page of Google, relegate
less favourable content to
subsequent pages and maintain
a positive first page in the long
run. Once the Digital Fortress is in
place, it provides daily monitoring
and long-term protection, over the
life of the contract, protecting our
clients from search results that may
damage their reputation.
For the B2C market, we launched
an online service called forget.me
in June 2014. This solution helps
Europeans submit their requests
to search engines in relation
to the right to be forgotten.

In the past, finding the right
therapist was hard work
and going to see them was
even harder.
The gif is a 40 years old
file format coming back
to a modern use on social
networks.
The IoT revolution is coming
very fast and it will be huge.
Wicross will be the tool to
grasp it.
Thanks to TonPsy, you can choose
THE therapist that suits your needs
perfectly and see him via webcam
from wherever you are.
It was elected word of the year 2012
by the Oxford American dictionary.
We are Gif has seen the growing
interest for this animation file due
to its small weight. It is quickly and
easily viewable on any devices
regardless of the age of the
equipment. We understood the
need of a new way to interact inside
events through instant sharing and
short animations.
How ? Wicross is a mobile
application that centralizes the
setup and use of your connected
objects in a single app, create
interactions between them, and
share your connected experience
with your friends!
When a patient connects to our
marketplace he chooses a therapist,
books an available session, pays
directly via Credit Card or Paypal
and has a secure P2P HTML5 video
session with the therapist directly
on his browser. Like AirBnB, UBER
and Blablacar we see ourselves
as disruptors of an old industry
(which hasn’t changed much since
Freud). And most studies show
that webcam therapy is way more
effective than regular therapy.
Our primary goal is to make counseling
available to all and easy to use.
Therapists have always paid for an
office. We want to enable them to
work without that hindrance.
This substantially lowers the average
price for the patient.
We want to offer our service in all
languages, and on all devices
(smartphones, pads...). We have
decided to focus our energies first
on the French-speaking market.
We take several pictures of people
at an event. Our software generates
the .gif and broadcasts the
animation on TV screens and on
our website. People can consult
the gifs few seconds after on
laptops/smart phones.
We are four business associates:
Daoud Marc photographer, Leray
Martin Webmaster, Tupper Adrian
computer engineer, Philibeaux
Xavier sales manager.
The concept emerged in early 2013.
We focused on one goal: give to all
kind of events the ability to capture
life and movement through short
animations, and broadcasting them
live. By this way, we want to link
people to each other in events.
With Wicross, connected gadgets
become valuable and truly useful
items! And it’s simple, you just have
to create interactions rules between
your objects and your life become
smarter: When you get home,
lights turn on when you open your
connected lock, and your fridge
offers a meal consistent with your
energy expenditure of the day,
measured with your connected
wristband.
Thanks to Wicross, users no longer
focus on the use of their connected
objects but on their goals and their
quality of life. Developers can help
manufacturers to provide users
with value-added services around
their objects. Moreover, Wicross is
a hub of ultra-qualified audience for
brands to sell their products.
We have just raised 20K€ via
crowdfunding with a 340K€ Valuation.
