BOOK CLUB REPORT / RAPPORT DU CLUB DE LECTEURS
It is now ten years since the Book Club came into being and in that time
almost 100 books have been read and discussed on the first Monday
and Tuesday of each month. A wide range of topics has been covered
from politics to religion, biography to travel and some of the timehonoured classics have been revisited. We owe a deep debt of gratitude to Tina Creber whose inspiration led to the formation of the Book
Club and who continues to preside over the lively discussions with tact
and never-failing good humour.
Cela fait maintenant dix ans que le Club de lecture a été créé et depuis
presque 100 livres ont été lu et commentés lors des rencontres qui ont
lieu chaque premier lundi et mardi du mois. De nombreux sujets ont été
abordés, allant de la politique à la religion en passant par des biographies, des livres sur les voyages, sans oublier certains grands classiques. Nous sommes très reconnaissants à Tina Creber dont l’inspiration a conduit à la création du Club de lecture et qui continue à présider
les discussions animées avec tact et une constante bonne humeur.
