For beginning French students who want
to get the most from a visit to France. Instruction in the basics of French language
and culture, with focus on conversation,
telling time, getting around, making reservations, restaurant survival, exchanging
money, shopping, etc…

Special Classes
Pronounciation class
This class will cover essential parts of
pronouncing French. You will study
syllabication, vowels and consonants
separate and together, specific rules and
exceptions. The instructor will introduce
the concepts in English and students will
practice through a variety of exercises
and home practice time. This course
will help you with reading, listening and
spelling. Tuesdays at 5:30 or Wednesdays
at 12 noon for one hour. $140 with Rachel McCarty.

Attention Parents!
Smart Steps to French! Give your child
the opportunity to learn, to review or
even to improve how to interact in
French through a variety of fun courses
and activities. Students are divided into
groups according to their age and level
of fluency. If your child is not a complete beginner he/she will take a placement test before registering. Grammar review and improvement via
practical application in conversations
based on “activités de découverte”
of French culture: Literature, the arts,
cinema, gastronomy, etc...Tuesdays and
Thursdays 2:00 – 4:30pm. June19 - July
