The application of the Cold Spray technology is growing worldwide and is
entering more industrial markets (Aerospace and Defense, Biomedical,
Energy, ..). Alternative solutions from conventional thermal spray but also
new coating systems with unique properties can be now envisaged in a
mature way. It is expected that Cold Spray could become a wellestablished process for production and overhaul operations in industry
and could also be considered as a key technology for the ongoing
revolution of 3D Additive Manufacturing. Therefore, it is important that
scientists and engineers could hear about academic and industrial experts
in the field about research programs under way in laboratories.
After the success of the EUCOSS 2011 and 2014 conference in Paris, the
third European Cold Spray Symposium EUCOSS 2016, will take place in
Paris on Monday December, 12th. This one-day conference is organized
under the auspices of the COLD SPRAY CLUB and its active members.
EUCOSS 2016 will bring the opportunity to participate in an active forum
for researchers, technicians, manufacturers and end-users. The purpose is
to review recent advances in coatings application by cold spray, latest
developments in equipment and also in feedstock powders. Scientific and
technical contributions of major actors in the field of cold spray will be
shown. Oral scientific presentations will be given in English, and authorized
slides of which will be given to the participants and COLD SPRAY CLUB
members (USB key). A time slot will be arranged for suppliers to show
their products (cold spray systems, powders…). Please, visit the

L'application de la technologie de projection par gaz froid COLD SPRAY est en
croissance dans le monde et entre dorénavant dans des marchés industriels (
Aéronautique et Défense , Santé et Biomédical , Energie , .. ) . Des solutions
alternatives à la projection thermique classique, mais aussi de nouveaux
systèmes de revêtement avec des propriétés uniques peuvent maintenant être
envisagés d'une manière mature. Il est prévu que le Cold Spray puisse devenir
un procédé bien établi pour des opérations de production et de réparation
dans l'industrie et pourrait également être considéré comme une technologie
clé pour la révolution en cours et qui concerne la fabrication additive 3D . Par
conséquent, il est important que les scientifiques et les ingénieurs entendent
parler des experts académiques et industriels dans le domaine au sujet des
programmes de recherche en cours dans les laboratoires. Après les succès de
EUCOSS 2011 et 2014 à Paris, une troisième édition de ce symposium
européen EUCOSS 2016 se tiendra à Paris le 12 Décembre 2016. Cet
évènement est organisé sous l’égide du CLUB COLD SPRAY.
EUCOSS 2016 sera l’opportunité d’un forum actif entre chercheurs,
techniciens, fabricants et applicateurs au sujet des dernières avancées
scientifiques dans le le domaine et les nouveautés en termes d’équipements.
Les présentations données par des acteurs importants dans le domaine seront
proposées sous forme de communications orales (en anglais). Les
présentations autorisées seront fournies aux membres du CLUB COLD SPRAY
et aux participants (clé USB). Les fournisseurs pourront montrer leurs produits
(équipements cold spray, poudres…). N’hésitez pas à interroger le site web de

renseigner sur les conditions pour participer à cet évènement.
