Course description:
Advanced language course which is the continuation of FRE3110. Training in the four skills of the language will continue
with emphasis on expression proficiency. Selected topics on various aspects of life in France will be examined.
Learning outcomes:
Students will review all the tenses studied so far (structure and use). They will also learn how to organize efficiently
their speech, describe places and people, present a project, report a speech, information and news, and take stock of
their life.

Continuous Assessment
Listening comprehension (15%)
All through the term, listening is a frequent exercise during classes.
There will be 2 tests marked and graded.
Assignment (15%)
3 short essays per term, due exactly one week later. Details are given by the teacher in class
Correction in class of the most commonly made mistakes
Forum(10%)
Reading/Writing practice on Moodle, subject and deadline are given by the teacher.
2 subjects per term. Each student is expected to take part 3 times in each discussion (each discussion is held on a period
of 2 weeks).
Oral examination (20%)
2 students, 5-10 minutes preparation and 5 minutes performance in front of the teacher. Textbook, notebook and notes
are not allowed during presentation.
