découverte, l’identification et la valorisation
industrielle de substances naturelles bioactives
d’origine marine pour l’industrie cosmétique.
La société Covalmar, créée en 2007 par A.
Chemouni, est issue d’un projet innovant soutenu par le pôle de compétivité Cosmetic
Valley.
Ce premier projet innovant réalisé en collaboration
avec le Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle
de Paris et le CNRS consiste à développer la
production industrielle et la commercialisation
de conservateurs et d’anti-oxydants naturels
produits par des bactéries marines.
D’autres projets prévoient d’obtenir par bioguidage
d’autres molécules naturelles.
Covalmar is an innovative marine biotechnology
R&D company, specialized in the discovery,
identification and industrial development of
natural bioactive substances of marine origin
for the cosmetics industry.
Covalmar was founded in 2007 by A. Chemouni, on the basis of an innovative project backed by the Cosmetic Valley competitive
cluster.
The purpose of this first innovative project, implemented in co-operation with the Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle in Paris
and the CNRS, is to develop the industrial production and marketing of natural preservatives and antioxidants released by marine
bacteria.
Other projects are designed to produce other natural molecules through bioguiding.
