PEGAS to enhance geographical offer with NBP, ZEE and PSV
contracts
Launch of new contracts on 26 March
Leipzig, Paris, 03 February 2015 – PEGAS, the pan-European gas trading platform
operated by Powernext, will launch Spot and Futures products for the UK’s National
Balancing Point (NBP) as well as for the Belgian Zeebrugge Beach (ZEE) market area
on 26 March. Financially settled Futures contracts (ICIS Heren) for the Italian Punto di
Scambio Virtuale (PSV) will be launched at the same time.
Jean-François Conil-Lacoste, Chief Executive Officer of Powernext, mentions: “The aim
of PEGAS is to offer natural gas products for all major European hubs. This is what we
will further pursue with our new offering.”

will benefit from access to all hubs via the PEGAS platform. The upcoming products
and the corresponding location spreads open up completely new trading opportunities.”
The launch of products for the ZEE market area follows the successful start of
Belgium’s ZTP delivery zone in 2014. On the Spot market, the offering for NBP and
ZEE will include Within-Day and Day (Day-Ahead, Weekend, Saturday, Sunday and
Individual Day) contracts. On the Derivatives Market, Month, Quarter, Season and
Calendar Year products will be tradable. Moreover, PEGAS market participants will
have the possibility to trade cleared location spread contracts between ZEE and NBP
for the first time. Location spreads between the existing physical products on the Dutch
TTF market area and the upcoming financially settled Futures contracts on the PSV will
also be offered.

PEGAS erhöht geografische Reichweite um Kontrakte für NBP,
ZEE und PSV
Handelsstart am 26. März
Leipzig, Paris, 3. Februar 2015 – PEGAS, die von der Powernext betriebene paneuropäische Gashandelsplattform, wird am 26. März 2015 Spot- und Terminprodukte
für das britische Marktgebiet National Balancing Point (NBP) und das belgische
Marktgebiet Zeebrugge Beach (ZEE) einführen. Am gleichen Tag werden außerdem
finanziell erfüllte Kontrakte (ICIS Heren) für den italienischen Punto di Scambio Virtuale
(PSV) gestartet.

von PEGAS ist es, Erdgasprodukte für alle bedeutenden europäischen Hubs
anzubieten. Dieses Ziel werden wir mit unserem neuen Angebot weiter verfolgen“.

Die Einführung der Produkte für das Marktgebiet ZEE folgt dem erfolgreichen Start der
Produkte für die belgische ZTP-Lieferzone in 2014. Am Spotmarkt für die Marktgebiete
NBP und ZEE wird das Angebot Within-Day- und Tageskontrakte (Day-Ahead,
Wochenende, Samstag, Sonntag und einzelne Tage) umfassen. Am Terminmarkt
werden Monats-, Quartals-, Saison- und Jahreskontrakte handelbar sein. Darüber
hinaus erhalten Teilnehmer erstmals die Möglichkeit, geclearte Location Spreads
zwischen den Marktgebieten ZEE und NBP zu handeln. Zusätzlich werden SpreadProdukte zwischen den bestehenden physischen Produkten für das niederländische
TTF-Marktgebiet und den neuen finanziellen Futures für das italienische Marktgebiet
PSV angeboten.

PEGAS accroit son offre géographique avec des contrats NBP,
ZEE et PSV
Lancement de nouveaux contrats le 26 mars
Leipzig, Paris, 3 février 2014 – PEGAS, la plateforme paneuropéenne de négociation
de gaz gérée par Powernext, va lancer le 26 mars prochain des produits Spot et
Futures au National Balancing Point (NBP) britannique et sur la zone de marché belge
Zeebrugge Beach (ZEE). Des contrats financiers Futures (ICIS Heren) seront lancés en
parallèle au Punto di Scambio Virtuale (PSV) italien.
Selon Jean-François Conil-Lacoste, Directeur général de Powernext : « l’objectif de
PEGAS est d’offrir des produits gaz naturel pour tous les gros hubs européens. C’est
cet objectif que nous allons poursuivre avec nos nouvelles offres. »
Dr. Egbert Laege, Directeur exécutif des Marchés Gaz au sein du Groupe EEX, ajoute :
« Nos membres vont bénéficier de l’accès à tous les hubs par le biais de la plateforme
PEGAS. Les produits qui seront offerts ainsi que les spreads géographiques

Le lancement de produits sur la zone de marché ZEE fait suite au lancement réussi de
la zone de livraison belge ZTP en 2014. Sur le marché spot, l’offre pour NBP et ZEE
comprendra des contrats Within-Day et Day (Day-Ahead, Weekend, Saturday, Sunday
et Individual Day). Sur le marchés des dérivés, il sera possible de négocier des produits
Mois, Trimestre, Saison et Année calendaire. De plus, les membres de marché PEGAS
auront pour la première fois la possibilité de négocier des contrats géographiques
compensés entre ZEE et NBP. Des spreads géographiques entre les produits
physiques existants sur la zone de marché néerlandaise TTF et les contrats financiers
Futures sur le PSV seront également disponibles.
