Le secteur prévu pour la via ferrata fait l’envie de plusieurs. En effet plusieurs amateurs d’escalade et de randonnée en montagne utilisent les parois rocheuses et la
forêt à proximité (Propriété de l’association des Cinq
Lac) pour y pratiquer ces activités. D'ailleurs, il existe
déjà des installations de câbles et autres afin d’en faciliter la pratique. Ces utilisateurs stationnent sur la voie
municipale. Notre projet permettrait donc un accès contrôlé et sécurisé de ce secteur.

Interesting facts
The sector where the via ferrata project will be developed is the envy of many. Indeed several climbing and
mountain hiking enthusiasts use the rock walls and the
nearby forest (Land of the Association of Five Lake) to
practice similar activities. Moreover, there are already
cables and other installations to facilitate these practices.
Those amateurs use the mountain in an uncontrolled
way and the parking is done on the municipal roads. The
project of via ferrata will make it possible to control the
traffic and reduce the risk of incidents;
Finally, residences are at an average distance of 1.5km
and more.

La Ferme Captiva et Aventure Nord-Ouest unissent leurs
efforts afin de diversifier leurs activités en intégrant un
projet de via ferrata. Nous favorisons un développement qui limitera le potentiel d’expansion, pourquoi?


Nous intégrons l’ajout de la via ferrata aux activités existantes. Les opérations se feront à partir des installations
présentes. De cette façon nous allons contraindre le
projet à l’intérieur d’un secteur prédéterminé (11 hectares). Malgré cette limite de la capacité de développement du projet la combinaison des trois activités
(ferme équestre, canot, via ferrata) sera bénéfique à
l’ensemble tout en contrôlant l’expansion potentiel
futur.

En ayant mis des exclusions dans le projet nous limitons la possibilité de voir le projet utiliser toute la
montagne dans le futur.
Attirer un plus grand nombre de visiteurs à Wakefield, La Pêche et dans la Vallée de la Gatineau;
Augmenter l’achalandage et les dépenses dans les
commerces et attraits de Wakefield et de la Vallée
de la Gatineau;
Favorise les partenariats afin de diminuer notre
impact sur la communauté.

Vision of the project
Sustainable Development
Captiva Farms and Aventure Nord-Ouest link their
efforts in order to diversify their activities by integrating
a project of via ferrata. We support a development
which will limit the potential of expansion. Why? We
integrate the addition of the via ferrata into the existing
activities. The operations will be done by the installations that are already present. This way, we will force
the project inside a predetermined area (11 hectares).
In spite of this limit concerning the capacity of the development of the project, the combination of the three activities (equestrian farm, canoe and via ferrata) will be
beneficial to all while controlling the future potential
expansion.
