Coordinator’s signature/ Signature du responsible**: ..................................................................... ** The student keeps the document with the original signatures, the sending and receiving institutions have to keep a copy or a scan. /*L’étudiant/e doit conserver le document original, et les établissements d’origine ainsi que les organismes d’accueil doivent en faire une copie ou une copie scannée. 4 QUALITY COMMITMENT For Erasmus student placements This Quality Commitment replicates the principles of the European Quality Charter for Mobility THE SENDING HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION* UNDERTAKES TO: Define the learning outcomes of the placement in terms of the knowledge, skills and competencies to be acquired Assist the student in choosing the appropriate host organisation, project duration and placement content to achieve these learning outcomes Select students on the basis of clearly defined and transparent criteria and procedures and sign a placement contract with the selected students. Prepare students for the practical, professional and cultural life of the host country, in particular through language training tailored to meet their occupational needs Provide logistical support to students concerning travel arrangements, visa, accommodation, residence or work permits and social security cover and insurance Give full recognition to the student for satisfactory completed activities specified in the Training Agreement Evaluate with each student the personal and professional development achieved through participation in the Erasmus programme THE SENDING INSTITUTION* AND HOST ORGANISATION JOINTLY UNDERTAKE TO: Negotiate and agree a tailor-made Training Agreement (including the programme of the placement and the recognition arrangements) for each student and the adequate mentoring arrangements Monitor the progress of the placement and take appropriate action if required THE HOST ORGANISATION UNDERTAKES TO: Assign to students tasks and responsibilities (as stipulated in the Training Agreement) to match their knowledge, skills, competencies and training objectives and ensure that appropriate equipment and support is available Draw a contract or equivalent document for the placement in accordance with the requirements of the national legislation Appoint a mentor to advise students, help them with their integration in the host environment and monitor their training progress Provide practical support if required, check appropriate insurance cover and facilitate understanding of the culture of the host country THE STUDENT UNDERTAKES TO: Comply with all arrangements negotiated for his/her placement and to do his/her best to make the placement a success Abide by the rules and regulations of the host organisation, its normal working hours, code of conduct and rules of confidentiality Communicate with the sending institution about any problem or changes regarding the placement Submit a report in the specified format and any required supporting documents at the end of the placement * In the event that the higher education institution is integrated in a consortium, its commitments may be shared with the co-ordinating organisation of the consortium 5 ENGAGEMENT QUALITÉ pour les STAGES ETUDIANTS DU PROGRAMME ERASMUS Cet engagement qualité reprend les principes de mobilité tells que defines dans la Charte de qualité européenne. L’ETABLISSEMENT D’ENSEIGNEMENT SUPERIEUR D’ORIGINE S’ENGAGE À Définir les résultats attendus du stage en termes de connaissances, aptitudes et compétences à acquérir; Aider l’étudiants dans le choix de l’établissement d’accueil, la durée et le programme du stage pour atteindre les objectifs defines ci-dessus; Sélectionner les bénéficiaires sur la base de critères et procédures clairement définis et transparents et signer une convention de stage avec les étudiants sélectionnés; Préparer les étudiants à la vie pratique, professionnelle et culturelle du pays d’accueil, en particulier par une formation linguistique adaptée à leurs besoins professionnels; Fournir aux étudiants toute information et conseil en matière de transport, conditions de séjour, visas et permis de travail, sécurité sociale et s’assurer que l’étudiant est correctement couvert en matière d’assurance; Accorder une reconnaissance totale au programme suivi par l’étudiant s’il satisfait pleinement aux termes de la convention de stage; Evaluer avec chaque bénéficiaire les résultats de sa participation au programme Erasmus sur les plans personnel et professionnel. L’ETABLISSEMENT D’ORIGINE ET L’ETABLISSEMENT D’ACCUEIL S’ENGAGENT CONJOINTEMENT À: Négocier et s’entendre sur une convention de stage adaptée à chaque étudiant (y compris le programme du stage et sa reconnaissance) ainsi que sur les mécanismes de suivi et de tutorat; Suivre le déroulement du stage et procéder aux modifications si nécessaires. L’ETABLISSEMENT D’ACCUEIL S’ENGAGE À Donner aux étudiants des tâches à réaliser ainsi que des responsabilités (comme précisé dans la convention de stage) correspondant à leurs connaissances, aptitudes et compétences, aux objectifs du stage et garantir la bonne adéquation des équipements et des supports, Etablir un contrat ou un document équivalent pour le stage conforme aux exigences de la législation nationale. Nommer un tuteur pour conseiller les étudiants, les aider dans leur intégration à l’environnement d’accueil et suivre la progression de leur stage (à la mise en oeuvre des objectifs définis dans le contrat de formation, intégration dans le pays d’accueil). Leur fournir des supports si nécessaires, vérifier qu’ils ont une couverture sociale appropriée et faciliter la compréhension culturelle dans le pays d’accueil L’ÉTUDIANT/E S’ENGAGE À: Observer l’accord négocié pour son stage et tout mettre en œuvre pour la réussite de celui-ci; Respecter le règlement de l’organisation d’accueil, ses horaires de travail, son code de bonne conduite et de confidentialité; Communiquer à l’établissement d’origine d’éventuels problèmes ou changements concernant le stage; Remettre un rapport selon le modèle prévu, une attestation de présence ainsi que tous les autres documents demandés, à la fin de sa période de stage dans un délai de 20 jours après la fin du stage. *Si l’établissement supérieur est intégré dans un consortium, ses obligations peuvent être partagées avec l’organisation coordinatrice du consortium. 6
