papers. Generic ICC profiles for selected printer models are available from the
Innova Art website. We recommend that you always print with the resolution set
to the highest quality.
All recommendations and product indications are for your guidance, and are subject

Manipulacion del papel
• Avoid touching the coated surface of the paper before
and after printing.
• Avoid exposure to high temperatures, high levels of
humidity and moisture. These factors can affect the drying
time of some Olmec products.
• Load the paper short edge first, so that the glossy/whiter/
smoother side is to be printed. In any top loading printer,
this means that the printing side should be facing you. In
any bottom loading printer, this means that the printing side
should be face down.
• Olmec” papers have been designed to print either from a
single sheet or in multiple copies from a stack.
• Vermeiden Sie das BerGhren der beschichteten

• Hohe Temperaturen, hohe Feuchtigkeit und Nasse sind zu

• Legen Sie das Papier mit der kurzen Kante zuerst ein,
damit die glanzende/weiBere/glattere Seite bedruckt wird
. Das heiBt, bei einem Drucker mit Einzug von oben muss
die Druckseite des Papiers nach oben zeigen. Bei einem
Drucker mit Einzug von unten muss die Druckseite des
Papiers nach unten zeigen.
• Olmec™ Papiere sind so ausgelegt, dass sie im
Einzelblatteinzug oder als Mehrfachkopie aus einem Stapel
bedruckt werden kennen.
• Ne pas toucher la face traitee du papier avant et apres
impression.
• Ne pas exposer Ie papier a des temperatures et a des
taux d’humidite eleves. Ces facteurs peuvent affecter la
duree de sechage de certains produits Olmec’·
• Charger Ie papier dans Ie sens de la longueur, en orientant
correctement la face a imprimer (face satinee/plus blanche/
plus lisse). Dans Ie cas d’une imprimante a chargement par
Ie haut, orientez la face a imprimer vers vous. Dans Ie cas
d’une imprimante a chargement par Ie bas, orientez la face
a imprimer vers Ie bas.
• Les papiers Olmec’· peuvent ~tre imprimes a partir de
feuilles simples ou d’une pile (copies multiples).
• Evitare di toccare la superficie rivestita della carta, prima
e dopo la stampa.
• Evitare I’esposizione ad alte temperature e a livelli elevati
di umidita. Ouesti fattori possono infatti avere un effetto sui
tempo di essiccazione di alcuni prodotti Olmec’”.
• Inserire la carta dal bordo piu corto, in modo che la
stampa awenga sullato lucido/piu bianco/piu liscio. Nel
caso delle stampanti con introduzione del fogli dall’alto,
questo significa che iI lato da stampare dovrebbe
essere rivolto verso di vol. Nel caso delle stampanti con
introduzione dei fogli dal basso, invece, questo significa
che illato da stampare deve essere quello sottostante.
• Le carte Olmec’” sono realizzate per consentire la stampa
da toglio singolo, oppure in copie multiple da una pila di
fogli.
• Evite tocar la superficie estucada del papel antes y
despues de la impresi6n.
• Evite la exposici6n a temperaturas elevadas 0 niveles
altos de humedad. Estos factores pueden afectar al tiempo
de secado de algunos productos Olmec ~ .
• Cargue primero el borde corto del papel, para que
se imprima la cara satinadalm·s blanca/mas suave. En
cualquier impresora con entrada superior de papel, esto
significa que la cara de impresi6n debe estar orientada
hacia el usuario. En cualquier impresora con entrada inferior
de papel, esto significa que la cara de impresi6n debe estar
boca abajo.
• Los papeles Olmec” han sido diseandos para imprimir
una sola hoja 0 multiples copias desde una pila de papel.
Storage Of Prints
Even though the prints will emerge from the printer feeling
dry to the touch, residual liquid from the inks will be
contained within the coating. Under certain conditions this
may cause the images to suffer some loss of definition. Any
loss of definition will be related to the actual ink loading and
is, therefore, heavily image dependent. In order to minimise
this risk:
• Remove prints from the tray after printing; do not allow
them to be stacked.
• Prints should be allowed to dry in air, preferably left
uncovered for 24 hours to allow the residual liquid from the
inks to evaporate.
• In cases where stacking is unavoidable, a paper interleaf
should be placed between each print.
• Where possible, all paper should be stored and used
within the following range of environmental condtions:
Temperature = 10’ - 35’ Centigrade
Relative Humidity = 30% - 80%
Unused paper should be stored in its original
packaging.
Image Stability
The rate at which inkjet prints fade will depend on the
type of inks used and the storage conditions under which
the prints are kept. Adverse conditions such as high
temperatures, humiity, direct sunlight and atmospheric
pollutants can cause fading, blurring or discolouration
of prints over time. Innova Art recommends that prints
produced on an Inkjet printer are stored in a glass frame,
album or in photographic wallets. Usage of a proven
UV protectant spray can also greatly extend the lifetime
of Inkjet prints. Placing Inkjet prints outdoors is not
recommended. Innova Art offers no guarantee on the life
expectancy of any Inkjet print.
Aufbewahrung des bedruckten Papiers
Auch wenn die bedruckten Seiten sich trocken anfGhlen,
wenn sie aus dem Drucker ausgegeben werden, ist in der
Beschichtung noch RestflOssigkeit der Tinten vorhanden.
Unter bestimmten Bedingungen kann das dazu fGhren,
dass es zu einem gewissen
Verlust der Bildscharfe kommen kann. Jeglicher
Scharfeverlust hangt Yom Tintenauftrag ab und ist von
daher stark Yom jeweiligen Bild abhangig. Um dieses
Risiko auf ein MindestmaB zu beschranken, sind folgende
Hinweise zu beachten:
• Die AbzGge nach dem Drucken aus dem Ablageschacht
nehmen, sie dGrfen nicht Gbereinander gestapelt werden.
• Die AbzGge sollten an der Luft trocknen; am besten
bleiben sie 24 Stunden lang unbedeckt liegen, dam it die
RestflGssigkeit der Tinten verdunsten kann.
• Wenn sich das Ubereinanderstapeln nicht vermeiden
lasst, sollte zwischen die AbzGge ein Blatt Papier gelegt
werden.
• Nach Meglichkeit sollte samtliches Papier bei folgenden
Umgebungsbedingungen gelagert und verwendet werden:
Temperatur = 10’ - 35’Celsius
Relative Luftfeuchtigkeit = 30% - 80%
Nichtgebrauchtes Papier in der Originalveroackung
aufbewahren.
Haltbarkeit des Blldes
Wie schnell ein Inkjet-Druck verblasst, hangt von der Art der
verwendeten Tinten und von den Lagerbedingungen der
AbzOge abo Nachteilige Faktoren wie hohe Temperaturen,
hohe Feuchtigkeit, direkte Sonneneinstrahlung und
Luftverunreinigungen kennen dazu
fUhren , dass die AbzGge mit der Zeit verblassen,
verwischen und ausbleichen. Innova Art empfiehlt, die mit
einem Inkjet-Drucker
hergestellten AbzGge in einem Glasrahmen, einem
Album oder einer Fotomappe aufzubewahren. Durch
Anwendung eines bewahrten UV-Schutzsprays lasst sich
die Lebensdauer von Inkjet-Drucken erheblich verlangern.
Von der Aufbewahrung oder Anbringung von Inkjet-Drucken
in AuBenbereichen wird abgeraten. Innova Art bietet keine
Garantie fUr die Lebenserwartung eines Inkjet-Drucks.
Conservation des tirages
Meme si Ie tirage semble sec au toucher a la sortie de
I’imprimante, des residus d’encre liquides demeureront
dans la couche de revetement. Dans certaines conditions,
cela peut entrainer une perte de definition de I’image. Cette
perte de definition sera fonction du taux d’encrage reel et
dependra donc, fortement, du taux d’image.
Pour reduire ce risque :
• Aetirez les tirages du bac aussit6t apres impression ; ne
les laissez pas empiles.
• Laissez les tirages secher a I’air, de preference sans les
couvrir, pendant 24 heures pour permettre I’evaporation des
residus diencre liquides.
• Si leur empilage ne peut etre evite, placez une feuille
intercalaire entre chaque tirage.
• Le papier doit etre conserve et utilise, si possible,dans les
conditions d’environnement suivantes :
Temperature = 10°- 35’ Humidite relative = 30% - 80%
Le papier inutilse doit ~tre conserve dans son emballage
d’origine.
Stabilite de I’image
Le degre d’alteration des couleurs des tirages dependra du
type d’encres utilise et des conditions de conservation des
tirages. Des conditions defavorables (temperatures elevees,
humidite, rayons du soleil, pOlluants atmospheriques,
etc .) peuvent provoquer une alteration des couleurs, un
effacement ou une decoloration au fil du temps. Innova Art
conseille de conserver les images produites par impression
jet d’encre dans des cadres en verre, des albums ou des
porte-photos. L’utilisation d’aerosols anti-UV reconnus
permet de prolonger considerablement la duree de vie des
tirages jet d’encre. II est deconseille de placer des tirages
jet d’encre a I’exterieur. Innova Art decline toute garantie
en ce qui concerne la duree de vie attendue de tout tirage
jet d’encre.
Conservazione degli stampati
Sebbene gli stampati fuoriescano asciutti al tatto dalla
stampante, il rivestimento conterra liquido residuo dagli
inchiostri usati. In talune condizioni questo potrebbe portare
a una perdita di definizione delle immagini. Oualsiasi
eventuale perdita di definizione sara legata alia carica
effettiva di inchiostro, ossia dipende in misura pronunciata
dall’immagine. Per ridurre al minimo questo rischio:
• Togliere gli stampati dal vassoio dei fogli dopo la stampa;
non lasciare che si impilino.
• Lasciare asciugare gli stampati esponendoli all’aria,
preferibilmente senza coprirli per 24 ore, per consentire I’e
vaporazione di tutto illiquido residuo dagli inchiostrL
• Se non risulta possibile evitare I’impilatura, separare
ciascuno stampato inserendo un interfoglio.
• Ovunque possibije, conservare ed utilizzare tutta la carta
in presenza delle seguenti condizioni ambientall:
Temperatura = 10’ - 35°Centigradi Umidita relativa = 30%
- 80%
Conservare la carta non utilizzata all’interno della
confezione originaria.
Stabllita delle Immagini
II tasso di sbiadimento delle immagini prodone con la
stampa a getto d’inchiostro dipendera dai tipi di inchiostri
usati e dalle condizioni di conservazione degli stampati.
Condizioni negative, come alte temperature, elevata
umidita, esposizione alia luce solare diretta e presenza di
agenti inquinanti atmosferici, possono causare 10
sbiadimento, la sfocatura 0 10 scolorimento degJi stampati
nel tempo.
Innova Art consiglia di conservare Ie immagini stampate
a getto d’inchiostro dietro una cornice in vetro, all’interno
di album 0 di apposite custodie fotografiche. Anche
I’uso di un efficace spray protenivo contro i raggi UV pub
accrescere notevolmente la durata delle immagini stampate
a getto d’inchiostro nel tempo. Non si consiglia di collocare
in esterni Ie immagini a geno d’inchiostro. Innova Art non
offre alcuna garanzia circa J[aspenativa di durata utile degli
stampati a geUo d’inchiostro.
Almacenamiento de las capias
Aunque las copias saldran de la impresora aparentemente
secas al tacto, el recubrimiento contendra en su interior
liquido residual de las tintas. En determinadas condiciones,
esto puede hacer que las imagenes sufran cierta perdida
de definici6n. Toda perdida de definici6n estara relacionada
con la carga real de tinta y, por consiguiente, dependera
enormemente de la imagen. Para reducir al minimo este
riesgo:
• Retire las copias de la bandeja despues de la impresi6n,
no deje que se amontonen.
• Las copias deben ponerse a secar al aire,
preferentemente sin cubrir, durante 24 horas para permitir la
evaporaci6n del liquido residual de las tintas.
• Cuando el apilamiento sea inevitable, se debe intercalar
una hoja de papel entre cada copia.
• Siempre que sea posible, el papel se debe almacenar y
utilizar de acuerdo con la siguiente escala de condiciones
ambientales:
Temperatura = 10’ - 35’ centlgrados
Humedad relativa = 30% - 80%
EI pape! no utilizado se debe almacenar en su embalaje
original
Establlldad de la Imagen
La velocidad de difuminaci6n de las impresiones con
inyecci6n de tinta dependera del tipo de tintas empleadas
y de las condiciones de almacenamiento de las copias.
Condiciones adversas tales como elevadas temperaturas,
humedad, luz solar directa y contaminantes atmosfericos
pueden provocar difuminaci6n, borrosidad 0 descoloraci6n
de las copias pasado un tiempo. Innova Art recomienda
guardar las copias realizadas con impresora de inyecci6n
de tinta en marco con cristal , album 0 carpeta para fotos.
EI uso de un aerosol de probada eficacia como protector
frente a rayos ultravioletas puede aumentar tam bien
considerablemente la duraci6n de las copias realizadas
con inyecci6n de tinta. Se recomienda no dejar las copias
impresas con inyecci6n de tinta en exteriores. Innova Art no
ofrece garantia sobre la duraci6n prevista de ninguna copia
impresa con inyecci6n de tinta.
