Organizational Arrangements
I.
Meeting Venue
1.
At the invitation of the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE), the
meeting will be held in Paris from 28 to 30 April 2014.

The conference room has the usual technical equipment (presentation computer, beamer, etc.) as
well as wifi connection. Access to power outlets can be arranged (please contact in advance). Wall plugs
are the standard European plug (Type C & F), 200V, 50-60 Hz (as e.g. in Germany, the Netherlands,
Spain, etc.).

There are various possibilities to reach the venue by public transportation:
Bus: lines 47, 63, 67, 86, 87, 89
Metro: lines 7 and 10, stations Maubert-Mutualité, Cardinal Lemoine et Jussieu (about a 5 minute walk to
the conference venue)
RER B station Saint-Michel (about a 10 minute walk)

As the venue is located in the Latin Quarter, there are many cafés and restaurants located
nearby for lunch.

There are two international airports in Paris: Roissy Charles de Gaulle and Orly.

You can take either the RER (metro), or buses that go to Paris.
RER B, station Saint-Michel is the closest station to the meeting venue.
Bus: Car Air-France (arriving at Gare Montparnasse). Then take the metro, or Roissybus (arriving at the
Opera). Then take the metro.
Travelling from Airport Orly
Shuttle: Orly Val until Antony
Bus: Car Air-France (arriving at Gare Montparnasse). Then take the metro, or Orlybus (arriving at station
Denfert Rochereau). Then take the metro.
Railway stations

Some participants may arrive by train. They should arrive either at Gare du Nord, Gare de l’Est,
or Gare de Lyon.
