7 . Brevets
2001 : Dépôt par Jean-Philippe Gastellu-Etchegorry d'un brevet en tant qu'inventeur (Insription INPI, 2002). Ce
brevet est le résultat d'un travail intensif conduit pendant 10 ans, avec une équipe de recherches, sur le
modèle de transfert radiatif DART. L'originalité de ce modèle est de pouvoir simuler :
- des images de télédétection dans les domaines spectraux du visible à l'infrarouge thermique. Le modèle
est adapté à tout type de milieu (naturel et urbain). Il fonctionne de 0.3 à 15 mm.
- la distribution 3-D du bilan radiatif dans les milieux 3-D.
En l'absence actuelle de ce type de simulateur, ce modèle DART a des applications industrielles assez immédiates
dans différents domaines. Il s'agit en particulier de la conception de capteurs embarqués sur satellites, de
l'amélioration de l'exploitation des mesures satellitaires, de la détermination du bilan radiatif de milieux urbains et
naturels.
