Structural geology – field expertise
 Macroscopic analysis of ductile to brittle structures: boudinage, shear bands, stretching
lineations, faults, fractures (standard methods of fracture analyzing)
 Microstructural analysis of strain (kinematics of faults, paleostresses inversion softwares,
strain/stress history)
Rheology
 Brittle-ductile transition of the extending continental crust.
Remote Sensing Data analyses
 Identification of fracture sets on Landsat and Quickbird images. Fractures and faults
check on Lidar data. Automation of the extraction of fracture sets from pictures by VBA
and Excel codes
 Use and ratification of Statoilhdro’s software of 3D visualization of outcrops.
 Relationships between tectonics and sedimentation
