Mauritius, along with business and government leaders from around the world
Paris, 20 January 2015 – The Women’s Forum for the Economy & Society is pleased to announce that H.M Queen
Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan will be among the featured speakers at Global Women’s Forum Dubai 2016, taking place
23-24 February at the Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Queen Rania has won global recognition for her efforts to challenge stereotypes of Arabs and Muslims and promote
greater understanding and acceptance between people of all faiths and cultures. Speaking at the 2006 Women’s
Forum Global Meeting in Deauville, France, she called for a “revolution of acceptance and hope” to counter a growing
culture of fear and suspicion around the world.
Global Women’s Forum Dubai 2016, co-organized by the Women’s Forum for the Economy & Society and the Dubai
Women Establishment, brings together more than 2 000 leaders from around the world – women and men –
representing business, government, academia as well as art and culture, with the aim of considering new perspectives
for today and tomorrow; creating a powerful, global network capable of boosting the influence of women throughout
the world; conceiving innovative and concrete action plans to encourage women’s contribution to society; and
promoting diversity in the business world.
Building on the theme Let’s Innovate!, Global Women’s Forum Dubai is a can't-miss opportunity to speak up, speak
out and connect with business leaders and trailblazers from around the world. This historic gathering – the first-ever
Women’s Forum Event in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region – will showcase cross-sector innovation
and women’s achievement. The Discovery, the renowned creativity space at Women's Forum meetings, will be among
the highlights of Global Women's Forum Dubai 2016, with workshops and exhibits serving as content relays for the
main program sessions. The event will also feature key Women’s Forum initiatives such as CEO Champions, Rising
Talents, Women in Media, and the Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards, and an official delegation of business and
government leaders from Scandinavia will be guests of honor.

Paris, le 20 janvier 2016 – Le Women’s Forum for the Economy & Society est très honoré d’accueillir la reine Rania Al Abdullah de
Jordanie parmi les personnalités présentes au Global Women’s Forum Dubai 2016, qui se déroulera les 23 et 24 février prochains
au Madinat Jumeirah de Dubaï, aux Emirats Arabes Unis.
La reine Rania est reconnue au niveau international pour son engagement contre les stéréotypes des populations et l’acceptation
des différences religieuses et culturelles. Déjà présente au Global Meeting du Women’s Forum for the Economy & Society de
Deauville en 2006, elle avait lancé un Appel pour la révolution de « l’acceptation et de l’espoir » face à la montée de la politique
de la peur et de la suspicion dans le monde.
Le Global Women’s Forum Dubai 2016, co-organisé par le Women’s Forum for the Economy & Society et le Dubai Women
Establishment, réunira plus de 2 000 participants du Moyen-Orient et du monde entier - femmes et hommes - de tous horizons,
représentants du milieu économique, politique mais aussi des gouvernements, du monde universitaire ou encore des milieux
des arts et de la culture, avec pour objectif de regarder les nouvelles opportunités d’aujourd’hui et de demain ; de créer un réseau
international puissant permettant d’accroître l’influence des femmes dans le monde ; d’imaginer des plans d’action concrets afin
d’encourager la contribution des femmes dans la société ; et de promouvoir la diversité dans les entreprises.
Avec pour thème « Let’s innovate », le Global Women’s Forum Dubai 2016 ira au-delà des attentes et permettra aux participants
d’échanger et de partager leurs expériences avec des personnalités du monde entier. Cette rencontre historique (la 1 ère édition
du Women’s Forum au Moyen-Orient) mettra en avant les innovations et le rôle que jouent les femmes dans tous les secteurs
d’activité. Le Discovery, lieu unique des rendez-vous du Women’s Forum, constituera l’un des moments forts du Global Women’s
Forum Dubai et donnera lieu à des échanges entre les participants pendant les deux jours. Les traditionnelles initiatives du
Women’s Forum telles que CEO Champions, Rising Talents, Women in Media, et les Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards, seront
également au cœur de l’événement. Enfin, une délégation officielle de chefs d’entreprises et de responsables politiques
