Bar Features
Housemade Tonic: Made with cinchona bark, lemongrass,
citrus, spices and lavender.
Tobala mezcal: Very rare mezcal from 8,200 feet up in the
mountains of Oaxaca. It will only grow at this elevation and
requires shade from the Oak trees. The Tobala is believed to be
the original maguey. It only yields an eighth the production of
other magueys. Because of this and its microclimate, the
government only allows it to be harvested one month of the
year. They only produce 400 liters per year and the villagers
drink most of it themselves. The nose has sweet tropical fruit,
which is reflected on the palate along with cinnamon spice.
Calumet bourbon: The owner of Calumet Baking Powder in
1924 established a farm to breed horses. Over the years the
farm took home eight Kentucky Derbies and two Triple Crowns.
This is a sourced bourbon bottled in Bowling Green.

Experience Bordeax
Château Pédesclaux is a fine example of Pauillac and 2010 was
a very good vintage in Bordeaux. The wine is a blend of mostly
Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot in roughly equal parts with a
little bit of Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. If you don’t want to
commit to the full six ounce pour, we can offer you a half glass.

NIKKA: Established in 1934 by Masataka Taketsuru,
the first Japanese to ever study the art of whisky
production. Taketsuru started at Japan’s first
distillery which became Suntory. He then branched
out and opened Nikka’s first distillery in Yoichi,
Hokkaido, due to its comparable conditions to the
Scottish town where he had studied.
1) COFFEY single grain
Nikka operates two Coffey stills (named after its
inventor Aeneas Coffey) within the Miyagikyo distillery
for the elaboration of its grain whiskies. The stills
were imported from Scotland in 1963. Distilled
mainly from corn. Notes of caramel, butterscotch,
and tropical fruit. It is meant for the connoisseur in
search of an unconventional whisky.
2) TAKETSURU 17 year blended malt
A blend from Nikka’s Miyagikyo and Yoichi distilleries.
Notes of white flowers, white pepper, ash,
butterscotch, sour apple & walnut oil. Bold &
balanced.
