This function is accountable for leading and coordinating all activities related to the improvement of rubber
manufacturing processes, according to the defined objectives and within the established budget. The
candidate :
- assures the leadership in the implementation of new/modified rubber processes, in good cooperation with
the Engineering Department, and according to applicable procedures, taking into account company and /or
customer requirements.
- assures the leadership in rubber processes improvement and optimization activities, in close co-operation
with the rubber department management and operators, with consistent application of Kaizen, Lean
Manufacturing and 5S principles.
- takes part in the preparation of rubber development plans, their organization, implementation and follow
up, including the preparation and submission of related investment files when appropriate.
- issues and maintains up to date specifications, work instructions, maintenance plans and documentation
related to rubber manufacturing processes. Provides appropriate training to the personnel involved
- maintains a good knowledge of technologies in rubber manufacturing as well as wiper products and
manufacturing processes.
- takes the lead of problem solving activities in case of issue or customer complaint related to rubber
processes or products.
- drives and keeps up to date PFMEA and EHS risks analysis on rubber processes, is involved and assures
the follow up of corrective actions implementation.
- links with machine manufacturers for the optimization of processes and for a quick repair in case of
breakdown.
- takes part in internal audit program on rubber processes, in line with the audit plan.

Votre profil
O
ffr
- High qualification in electro-mechanics, a good background in polymers, in industrial chemistry and a
good knowledge of chemicals used in rubber manufacturing.
- Capacity for people management, for working in team, for communication and good relationships inside
and outside the company
- Ability to work with high autonomy, in a team spirit and with innovative minding, in good co-operation with
the other departments of the plant and suppliers.
- Quality minded
- Hands on
- Fluent in english, knowledge of german would be preferable
