is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over.
Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any
way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged. Liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the

SETUP
Setting up the remote control:
Battery installation:
1. Release the slide latch of the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
2. Pull out the battery holder.
3. Install only a 3V CR2025 battery and ensure that the battery polarity "+" corresponds to the "+" sign on
the battery holder.
4. Replace the battery holder.
Please note:
• Use only the recommended size and type of battery specified.
• Please be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the battery in the battery compartment. A reversed battery may cause damage to the remote control.
• Do not drop or bump the remote control as this may damage the internal components of the remote.
• When not using the unit for a prolonged period of time, please remove the battery to avoid possible
damage caused by a leaking battery.
Optimal range for the remote control:
1. When pressing the buttons on the remote
control, aim it at the IR receiver on the Music System.
2. The distance between the Music System and
the remote should be no more than 16.5 feet (5 meters) and within 30° with an
unobstructed view.

The remote control may be less effective if:

A strong light is placed near the IR receiver.
There are obstacles between the remote control and the IR receiver.
Other remote controls are being used in the area at the same time.
The remote control has a low battery.
Installing the Speaker Feet
• Screw in one Isolation Floor Spike into each of the
two front holes on the bottom of the Music System
as shown in the diagram on the right.

SETUP
Connecting your iPod/iPhone to your Music System:
1. Ensure that the iPod/iPhone and the Music System are turned off before docking your iPod/iPhone.
2. Select the correct docking bracket that corresponds to the size of your iPod/iPhone. You can also use
the original universal bracket that came with your iPod/iPhone.
3. Insert the correct docking bracket into the iPod/iPhone connection area located on the top of the
Music System.
4. Ensure that the iPod/iPhone is securely connected to the Music System.
NOTE: To prevent any damages to the base connector, do not shake or bump the
iPod/iPhone during playback.

OPERATION
Turning on the Music System:
Ensure that the AC power cord is plugged in and the ON/OFF switch at the back of the Music System is in the ON
position. The unit is now in STANDBY mode.
STANDBY MODE:
1. When you are in STANDBY mode, no information will be displayed in the LCD window.
2. Press the
button on remote or the +, –, SET OR IN buttons on the touchscreen to exit STANDBY mode.
3. The TIME and INPUT information will appear in the LCD window and power will be restored.

INPUT MODE:
1. Touch the IN button on the touchscreen or press the iPod, TUNER or AUX buttons on the remote control
to select different input signals. AUX, iPod or RADIO will appear in the LCD window to display your
selection. The front panel will also light up the corresponding indicator depending on which mode is
selected.
2. Press the AUX button on the remote control to switch the input signal to Auxiliary Audio Input, AUX will
appear in the LCD window.
3. Press the iPod button on the remote control to switch the input signal to iPod/iPhone. IPod will appear
in the LCD window.
4. Press the TUNER button on the remote control to switch the input signal to AM or FM RADIO. RADIO will
appear in the LCD window.
VOLUME:
1. Press the VOL + button on the remote control or the + on the touchscreen to increase the volume.
2. Press the VOL - button on the remote control or – on the touchscreen to decrease the volume.
3. The LCD window will display the volume level you have selected.
NOTE: The maximum volume is 40dB and the minimum volume is 0dB. The Music
System is set to 20dB by default when turning on the system.

TREBLE:
1. Press the TREBLE + button on the remote control to increase the treble.
2. Press the TREBLE - button on the remote control to decrease the treble.
3. The LCD window will display the TREBLE level you have selected.
4. If the TREBLE levels are not adjusted within 5 seconds, the display will revert to the main level.
NOTE: The TREBLE adjustment range is ± 14dB and increases/decreases in increments of 2.
BASS:
1. Press the BASS+ button on the remote control to increase the bass.
2. Press the BASS - button on the remote control to decrease the bass.
3. The LCD window will display the BASS level you have selected.
4. If the BASS levels are not adjusted within 5 seconds, the display will revert to the main level.
NOTE: The BASS adjustment range is ± 14dB and increases/decreases in increments of 2.
iPod/iPhone CONTROL:
• The iPod/iPhone control buttons on the remote control work similarly to the iPod/iPhone’s menu
system. For more information, please refer to the iPod or iPhone instruction manual.

OPERATION
LISTENING TO THE RADIO:
Selecting AM or FM radio
• Touch the IN button on the touch screen or press the TUNER button on the remote control to select AM
or FM.
Tuning
MANUAL SEARCH:
• Tap the SET button on the touch screen until the AM or FM frequency blinks, touch +/- or press the /
buttons on the remote control to select your preferred broadcasting station.
AUTO SEARCH:
• Tap the SET button on the touch screen until the AM or FM frequency blinks, press and hold +/- for a
few seconds or press and hold the /
buttons on the remote control for a few seconds to scan

buttons are pressed.
AUTO STATION PRESET:
• Press the RADIO PRESET button on the remote control for 3 seconds to enter into auto search mode, the
unit will store all the Stations which have been searched by sequence automatically.
MANUAL STATION PRESET:
• Press or on the remote control continuously to the channel you want, then press RADIO PRESET.
Press CH+ or CH- to the position where you want to save the channel, and then press ENTER to confirm.
Select the preset radio station:
• Press CH+/- on the remote control to select the next broadcasting station which has been stored. The
LCD shows the number of selected broadcastings.
Sleep
The SLEEP function automatically shuts off the Music System after a preset period of time. (OFF, 05, 10, 15, 20, 25,
30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 and 90 minutes).
• Tap the SET button on the touch screen of the unit until SLEEP flashes in the LCD screen or press the
SLEEP button on the remote control. The system is preset to: OFF.
• Touch the +/- button on the touch screen of the unit or press the < < / < < buttons on the remote
control to adjust the SLEEP time.
• Tap the SET button on the touch screen of the unit or press the ENTER button on the remote control to
confirm the SLEEP setting.

TIME SETUP:
• Touch the SET button on the touch screen of the unit or press the ALARM SET button on the remote
control until the time on the display flashes.
• Touch the SET button on the touch screen of the unit or press the ENTER button on the remote control to
enter the time setting.
• Touch the +/- buttons on the touch screen of the unit or press the < < / < < buttons on the
remote control to adjust the hour. Touch the SET button on the touch screen of the unit or press
the ENTER button on the remote control to confirm the hour setting, the unit will then move to the
minute setting.
• Touch the +/- buttons on the touch screen of the unit or press the < < / < < buttons on the
remote control to adjust the minutes. Touch the SET button on the touch screen of the unit or press the
ENTER button on the remote control to confirm the minute setting.
ALARM FUNCTION:
SETTING THE ALARM:
• Touch the SET button on the touch screen of the unit or press the ALARM SET button on the remote
control until the icon flashes on the LCD screen. Touch the +/- button on front panel of the unit or
press ENTER button on the remote control to enter into alarm ON/OFF settings.
• Use the +/- buttons on the touch screen of the unit or press the < < / < < buttons on the remote
control to set the alarm ON/OFF displayed in the LCD screen.
• Touch the SET button on the touch screen of the unit or press the ENTER button on the remote control to
set the alarm to OFF and exit the alarm setting. Select ON to set the alarm. The time will flash in the LCD screen.
• Touch the +/- buttons on the touch screen of the unit or press the < < / < < buttons on the
remote control to adjust the hour of the alarm time. Touch the SET button on the touch screen of the
unit or press the ENTER button on the remote control to confirm the hour setting, the unit will then
move to the minute setting.

OPERATION

Touch the +/- buttons on the touch screen of the unit or press the < < / < < buttons on the
remote control to adjust the minutes of the alarm time. Touch the SET button on the touch
screen of the unit or press the ENTER button on the remote control to confirm the minute setting,
the unit will then enter into the audio source setting.
NOTE: You have 8 seconds to make your changes or unit returns to default setting.

You have three options for the alarm audio source:

Touch the +/- buttons on the touch screen of the unit or press the < < / < < buttons on the
remote control to make your selection. Touch the SET button on the touch screen of the unit or press
the ENTER button on the remote control to confirm the alarm audio source setting. The unit
will then enter into the volume setting.
Touch the +/- buttons on the touch screen of the unit or press the < < / < < buttons on the
remote control to adjust the alarm volume. Touch the SET button on the touch screen of the unit
or press the ENTER button on the remote control to confirm the volume setting. The alarm settings
are complete and the unit will now be in normal mode.
CANCELLING THE ALARM:
There are two ways to stop the alarm when it is ringing:

SNOOZE:

Touch any button on the touch screen or press any button except the standby button on the remote
control once, the alarm will stop ringing and the unit will enter into SNOOZE mode. The SNOOZE,
BUZZER and ALARM icons will flash on the LCD screen. When the unit is in SNOOZE mode, the alarm
will stop ringing for 9 minutes, then the alarm will resume.
DISPLAY MODE:

Press the Display Mode button on the remote control to select the LCD display mode. This
function is to set the duration of the LCD backlight. There are three settings for the LCD backlight as
shown below:

FLUANCE® warrants that each new product, under normal use, is free from defects, subject to the terms and conditions set forth. If a defect should occur within the warranty period, repairs will be made free of charge for parts and labor when such defects are determined by us to be attributable to faulty materials or workmanship at time of manufacture.
Warranty Period: The FLUANCE® products listed below are warranted for parts and labor for the stated period from the date of original purchase and are subject to the terms and conditions of the warranty.

Warranty Exclusions: Products purchased from a dealer not authorized by FLUANCE®. Products with the serial number defaced, altered or missing. Defects resulting from disaster, accident, abuse, misuse,
lightning, power surges, neglect, unauthorized modification or water damage. Defects or damage as a result of repairs performed by a person or party not authorized by FLUANCE®. Defects or damage occurring during shipping (claims should be made with the shipping company).
To Obtain Warranty Service: Should your FLUANCE® product need warranty service, please contact your FLUANCE® Authorized Dealer and send your product, fully insured and freight prepaid to the nearest FLUANCE® authorized service center. Before sending to FLUANCE®, you will be required to get a Return Authorization Number from your dealer. Products shipped without a valid Return Authorization Number will be refused. To avoid possible shipping damage, make sure the product is properly packaged and well protected. Include a copy of your original bill of sale (including date of purchase and invoice number), serial number, your name, email address, home and/or work telephone number(s), a complete return address and a detailed description of the faults. Products repaired within warranty will be returned freight prepaid. When applying for warranty repairs, you must present the original copy of your bill of sale.

Appuyez la touche +/- sur l’écran tactile ou appuyez les boutons < < / < < sur la
télécommande pour régler les MINUTES de L’HEURE D’ALARME. Appuyez la touche SET sur l’écran
tactile ou appuyez le bouton ENTER sur la télécommande pour confirmer le réglage de minutes,
ensuite l’appareil entrera dans le réglage source audio.
NOTE: Vous avez 8 secondes pour effectuer vos modifications ou l’appareil revient au paramètre par défaut.

Vous avez trois options pour la source audio de l’alarme:
BUZ
RAD (FM/AM)
iPod
Appuyez la touche +/- sur l’écran tactile ou appuyez les boutons < < / < < sur la
télécommande pour faire votre sélection. Appuyez la touche SET sur l’écran tactile ou appuyez le
bouton ENTER sur la télécommande pour confirmer le réglage de la source audio de l’alarme.
L’appareil se rendra ensuite au réglages du volume.

Appuyez la touche +/- sur l’écran tactile ou appuyez les boutons < < / < < sur la
télécommande pour régler le VOLUME D’ALARME. Appuyez la touche SET sur l’écran tactile
ou appuyez le bouton ENTER sur la télécommande pour confirmer le réglage du volume. Les
paramètres d’alarme sont complets et l’appareil sera maintenant en mode normal.
ANNULER L’ALARME:
Il y a deux façons d’arrêter l’alarme lorsqu’elle sonne:

MINUTERIE SOMMEIL (SNOOZE):

MINUTERIE SOMMEIL (SNOOZE). Les icônes MINUTERIE SOMMEIL (SNOOZE), SONNERIE (BUZZER)et
ALARME clignoteront à l’écran ACL. Lorsque l’appareil est en mode MINUTERIE SOMMEIL (SNOOZE),
l’alarme arrêtera de sonner pendant 9 minutes, ensuite l’alarme reprendra.

télécommande pour régler la période SLEEP (somnolence).
Appuyez la touche SET sur l’écran tactile ou appuyez le bouton ENTER sur la télécommande pour
confirmer le réglage SLEEP (somnolence).
RÉGLAGE HEURE:

Appuyez la touche SET sur l’écran tactile ou appuyez le bouton ALARM SET sur la télécommande
jusqu’à ce que l’heure clignote à l’écran.
•
Appuyez la touche SET sur l’écran tactile ou appuyez le bouton ENTER sur la télécommande pour dans le réglage heure.
•
Appuyez la touche +/- sur l’écran tactile ou appuyez les boutons < < / < < sur la
télécommande pour régler l’HEURE. Appuyez la touche SET sur l’écran tactile ou appuyez le bouton
ENTER sur la télécommande pour confirmer le réglage de l’hEURE, l’appareil se rendra ensuite au
réglage des minutes.

Appuyez la touche +/- sur l’écran tactile ou appuyez les boutons < < / < < sur la
télécommande pour régler les MINUTES. Appuyez la touche SET sur l’écran tactile ou appuyez le
bouton ENTER sur la télécommande pour confirmer le réglage de minutes.
FONCTION ALARME:
RÉGLER L’ALARME:

Appuyez la touche SET sur l’écran tactile ou appuyez le bouton ALARM SET sur la télécommande
jusqu’à ce que L’icône clignote à l’écran ACL. Appuyez la touche +/- sur l’écran tactile ou appuyez
le bouton ENTER sur la télécommande pour les paramètres ON/OFF (activé/désactiver) de l’alarme.

Appuyez la touche +/- sur l’écran tactile ou appuyez les boutons < < / < < sur la télécommande
pour régler les paramètres ON/OFF (activé/désactiver) de l’alarme affichés à l’écran ACL.

Appuyez la touche SET sur l’écran tactile ou appuyez le bouton ENTER sur la télécommande pour
régler l’alarme sur OFF (désactiver) et quitter le réglage de l’alarme. Sélectionnez ON (activé) pour
régler l’alarme. L’heure clignotera à l’écran ACL.

Appuyez la touche +/- sur l’écran tactile ou appuyez les boutons < < / < < sur la
télécommande pour régler l’HEURE de L’HEURE D’ALARME. Appuyez la touche SET sur l’écran tactile
ou appuyez le bouton ENTER sur la télécommande pour confirmer le réglage de l’hEURE, l’appareil
se rendra ensuite au réglage des minutes.

ÉCOUTER LA RADIO:
Selection de radio AM ou FM
•
Appuyez la touche IN sur l’écran tactile ou appuyez le bouton TUNER sur la télécommande pour
choisir AM ou FM.
Régler la radio
RECHERCHE MANUELLE:
•
Appuyez la touche SET sur l’écran tactile jusqu’à ce que la fréquence AM ou FM clignote, appuyez
sur le +/- ou appuyez les boutons / sur la télécommande pour choisir votre station de
radiodiffusion préféré.
RECHERCHE AUTO:
•
Appuyez la touche SET sur l’écran tactile jusqu’à ce que la fréquence AM ou FM clignote, appuyez
et retenez le +/- pour quelques secondes ou appuyez et retenez les boutons / ur la
télécommande pour quelques secondes pour balayer les stations. Si les touches +/- ou /
sont appuyées une fois, les stations FM avancent de 0.05MHz à chaque fois que les touches sont
appuyées, les stations AM avancent de 9kHz à chaque fois que les touches sont appuyées.
PRÉRÉGLAGE DE STATIONS AUTO:
•
Appuyez la touche RADIO PRESET (stations radio mémorisées) sur la télécommande pour 3 secondes
pour entrer dans le mode de recherche auto, l’appareil stockera toutes les stations qui ont été
recherchés par la séquence automatiquement.
PRÉRÉGLAGE DE STATIONS MANUELLE:
•
Appuyez et retenez la touche ou sur la télécommande jusqu’à ce qu’au poste désiré, puis
appuyez sur RADIO PRESET (stations radio mémorisées). Ensuite, appuyez et retenez CH+ ou CH- jusqu’à
la position où vous voulez enregistrer le canal, puis appuyez sur ENTER pour confirmer.
CHOISIR LA STATION PRÉRÉGLÉE:
•
Appuyez la touche CH+/- sur la télécommande pour sélectionner la prochaine station de
radiodiffusion qui a été préréglée. L’écran ACL indique le nombre de diffusions sélectionnés.
Somnolence
La fonction SLEEP (somnolence) éteint automatiquement le système de musique après une période de
temps prédéfinie. (OFF, 05, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 et 90 minutes).

AIGUS:
1. Appuyez la touche TREBLE + (aigus) sur la télécommande pour augmenter les aigus.
2. Appuyez la touche TREBLE - (aigus)sur la télécommande pour diminuer les aigus.
3. L’affichange ACL indiquera le niveau des aigus que vous avez sélectionné.
4. Si le niveau des aigus n’est pas ajusté dans les 5 secondes, l’affichage revient au niveau principal.
REMARQUE: La gamme de réglage des aigus est de ± 14dB et augmente / diminue en incréments de 2.
GRAVES:
1. Appuyez la touche BASS+ (graves) sur la télécommande pour augmenter les graves.
2. Appuyez la touche BASS - (graves) sur la télécommande pour diminuer les graves.
3. L’affichange ACL indiquera le niveau des graves que vous avez sélectionné.
4. Si le niveau des graves n’est pas ajusté dans les 5 secondes, l’affichage revient au niveau principal.
REMARQUE: La gamme de réglage des graves est de ± 14dB et augmente / diminue en incréments de 2.
CONTRÔLE iPod/iPhone:

Les touches de contrôle pour l’iPod/iPhone sur la télécommande fonctionnent de façon semblable à
ceux dans le menu de l’iPod/iPhone. Pour plus d’informations, référez-vous au manuel d’instruction
pour iPod ou iPhone.

Alimenter le système de musique:
Assurez-vous que le cordon d’alimentation est branché et l’interrupteur ON/OFF (marche/arrêt) à l’arrière du
système est dans la position ON. L’ appareil est maintenant en mode veille.
MODE STANDBY (MODE VEILLE):
1. Lorsque vous êtes en mode veille, aucune information sera affiché à l’écran ACL.

pour afficher votre sélection. Votre choix sera aussi illuminé sur l’écran tactile avant.
2. Appuyez sur le bouton AUX de la télécommande pour changer le signal d’entrée au signal auxiliaire
audio. AUX apparaîtra à l’écran ACL pour afficher votre sélection.
3. Appuyez sur le bouton iPod de la télécommande pour changer le signal d’entrée à iPod/iPhone. IPod
apparaîtra à l’écran ACL pour afficher votre sélection.
4. Appuyez sur le bouton TUNER de la télécommande pour changer le signal d’entrée à AM ou FM RADIO.
RADIO apparaîtra à l’écran ACL pour afficher votre sélection.
VOLUME:
1. Appuyez la touche VOL + sur la télécommande ou le + sur l’écran tactile pour augmenter volume.
2. Appuyez la touche VOL - sur la télécommande ou le – sur l’écran tactile pour réduire volume.
3. L’écran ACL affichera le niveau du volume que vous avez sélectionné.
REMARQUE: Le volume maximum est de 40dB et le volume minimum est de 0dB. Le système
de musique est fixé à 20dB par défaut lorsque vous alimentez le système.

Connecter votre iPod/iPhone à votre système de musique:
1. Assurez-vous que l’iPod/iPhone et le système de musique sont éteints avant de connecter votre
iPod/iPhone.
2. Choisissez le support correct qui correspond à la taille de votre iPod/iPhone. Vous pouvez
également utiliser le support d’origine universel qui est venu avec votre iPod/iPhone.
3. Insérez le support correct dans la connexion iPod/iPhone situé sur le dessus du système
de musique.
4. Assurez-vous que l’iPod/iPhone est correctement connecté au système de musique.
REMARQUE: Pour éviter tout dommage au connecteur de base, évitez de secouer ou de
cogner l’iPod/iPhone pendant la lecture.

Mise en place de la télécommande:
Installation de la pile:
1. À l’arrière de la télécommande, relâchez le loquet et glissez le compartiment à pile.
2. Retirez le support de la pile.
3. Installez seulement une pile 3V CR2025 et assurez que la polarité "+" correspond au signe "+" sur le support de la pile.
4. Mettez le support de la pile en place.
Veuillez noter:
Utilisez uniquement la taille recommandée et le type de pile spécifié.
• Assurez-vous de respecter la polarité lors de l’installation de la pile dans le compartiment à pile. Une pile
inversée peut causer des dommages à la télécommande.
• Évitez d’échapper ou de cogner la télécommande car ceci pourrait endommager les composants internes de
la télécommande
• Lorsque vous n’utilisez pas l’appareil pendant une période de temps prolongée, s’il vous plaît retirer la pile
pour éviter des dommages possibles causés par une pile qui fuit.
Portée optimale pour la télécommande:
1. Lorsque vous appuyez sur les touches de la
télécommande, visez la télécommande vers le
récepteur IR du système de musique.
2. La distance entre le système de musique et la télécommande ne doivent pas être plus que 16,5
pieds (5 mètres) et à l’intérieur de 30 ° avec une vue
dégagée.
