Note: for making adjectives we add “e” at the end
and when the word ends on s we add “sse”.ex: gros---grosse..in feminine.
For making plural we add “s” in front of masculine
singular and for making feminine plural we add “es”
in front of a masculine singular word.
Example:

When we describe things we can say they are
small,big,rectangular,circular.
But when we desribe a person we say they are
small,big,fat. we never use shapes like circular,
rectangular.
Example:
1.Le tableau est rectangulaire.
The blackboard is rectangular.
Il est grand.
It is big.
2.la table est rectangulaire.
The table is rectangular.
Elle est petite.
It is small.
3. l’image est carée.
The image is squared.
Elle est grande.
It is big.
4. la professeur est grande.
The professor is big.
Elle est belle.
She is beautiful.
5. la fille est petite.
The girl is small.
Elle est belle.
She Is beautiful.
6. les élèves sont petits.
The students are small.
