ITR awards – Deloitte’s Christian Deglas continues his leading function as an indirect tax
practitioner for Luxembourg
This year, 141 Deloitte professionals have been included in the 2015 Indirect Tax Leaders
guide published recently by the International Tax Review (ITR). Deloitte dominates the guide
for the third consecutive year, with substantially more leaders listed than any other firm
overall and in core and growth markets. Among the 141 Deloitte advisers, Christian Deglas,
Indirect Tax Partner at Deloitte Luxembourg, continues his leading function as an indirect tax
practitioner for Luxembourg.
“The results reflect the strength of our international Deloitte network, with leaders listed in
44 out of 51 jurisdictions covered by the guide. The designated Deloitte leaders represent a
good mix of VAT, Goods and Service Tax and Capital Gains Tax specialists, also including
leading industry professionals and cross-border service offering leaders.” Regarding his
renewed nomination, Christian Deglas concludes: “Being again entitled as an ITR leader, and
by this as the qualified adviser and person of contact for indirect tax matters in Luxembourg,

The tax professionals featured in the Indirect Tax Leaders guide were identified by
researchers who conducted in-depth evaluations of indirect tax practitioners worldwide.
The leaders were chosen based on a nomination process as well as consultation with
eminent industry professionals who expressed their views on the credibility of
nominees.

Classement de l’ITR : Christian Deglas, Partner chez Deloitte, confirme son rôle central en
tant que spécialiste des impôts indirects pour le Luxembourg
Cette année, 141 professionnels de Deloitte figurent dans l’édition 2015 du guide Indirect
Tax Leaders, publié récemment par l’International Tax Review (ITR). Deloitte domine ce
guide pour la troisième année consécutive en affichant un nombre de leaders
considérablement plus élevé que toute autre société, que ce soit sur les marchés principaux
ainsi que sur ceux en croissance. Parmi les 141 conseillers qui travaillent chez Deloitte,
Christian Deglas, Indirect Tax Partner au sein de Deloitte Luxembourg, confirme son rôle
central en tant que spécialiste des impôts indirects pour le Luxembourg.
« Ces résultats soulignent la force de frappe de notre réseau international Deloitte : nos
leaders sont repris dans 44 des 51 juridictions couvertes par le guide. Les leaders de Deloitte
qui ont été désignés constituent un mixte équilibré de spécialistes de la TVA, des impôts sur

élaborée par des chercheurs ayant effectué des évaluations approfondies de spécialistes
des impôts indirects basés aux quatre coins du monde. Les leaders ont été choisis sur la
base d’un processus de nomination et de consultations avec d’éminents professionnels
du secteur qui ont donné leur avis sur la crédibilité des candidats.

Steuern für Luxemburg
In diesem Jahr wurden 141 Steuerberater von Deloitte in die 2015er Ausgabe des Indirect
Tax Leaders Guide aufgenommen, der jährlich von der International Tax Review (ITR)
herausgegeben wird. Im dritten Jahr in Folge dominiert Deloitte das Verzeichnis mit deutlich
mehr nominierten Spitzenberatern als jedes andere Firmennetzwerk, sowohl insgesamt als
auch in den Kern- und Wachstumsmärkten. Unter den 141 Deloitte Beratern behält Christian
Deglas, Indirect Tax Partner bei Deloitte Luxemburg, seine führende Position als Berater für
indirekte Steuern im Großherzogtum.
