As a result of the merger of our firm with Lozeau L’Africain, of which Mr. L’Africain was a founding partner, he brought 10 years of practice to our team, in addition to the five years of experience he acquired in the Montreal area. He became a partner of the firm in 2007. Profile His practice focuses on commercial, banking, real estate and construction law. Having developed expertise in these areas, he is called upon to represent financial institutions, real estate developers and managers, as well as building contractors. He currently works in banking, commercial lease, construction, co-ownership and inter-shareholder litigation. Community and other involvement Mr. L’Africain is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, in the Real Property, Construction Law and Bankruptcy and Insolvency sections. Mr. L’Africain also gives talks on real estate, banking and construction law before various forums and associations. Mr. L’Africain is actively involved in his community by serving on the boards of directors of service organizations and by participating in fundraising events.
