The Contourbreton NC 260 K has useful working
travels of 137.8" in “X”, while in “Y” the travels
vary according to the model: 70.9" for NC 260 K18,
90.6" for NC 260 K23 and 145.7" for NC 260 K37.
In all versions, its movable bridge design means
ample freedom of access, even from above, for
workpiece loading and unloading operations.
A single footstep inside the enclosure,
and sunken worktop provide ergonomic and
unobstructed frontal access.

Engineered to work stone in the fastest, most precise
and efficient manner provided by today’s technology,
the support frame of the Contourbreton NC 260 K
is such as to insure the needed rigidity to consistently
obtain the desired precision, even when faced with
heavy grinding stress.
Contourbreton NC 260 K complies with CE standards,
and for the North American Market the electronics are
cULus approved. The machine is equipped
with sliding doors which protect the operator from
risks of being struck by flying debris and helps to
deaden sound. The doors open manually to provide
maximum accessibility and have a large inspection
window for project monitoring.

exclusif breveté pour le polissage des plans horizontaux
et inclinés à pression pneumatique de la broche,
réglable en fonction du matériel à polir.
Le système permet de polir les plans à traversun

magasin porte-outils des attaches standard HSK-B80,

Contourbreton NC 260 K is equipped with a Siemens Sinumerik 840D SL latest generation continuous
numerical control (CNC) with digital control on PC architecture, personal computer with PCU 50.3,
Intel Celeron 1.5 Ghz - 512 MbRam processor, 40 Gb hard disk and Windows XP operating system.
The control panel is fixed on an adjustable console which features a keyboard, a color touch-screen monitor
and USB port.
A remote control pendant wired to the console, duplicates the axes control and emergency stop commands
allowing the operator to control delicate operations from within the work envelope.
All of the electrical and service components are contained in two cabinets located beside the machine base.
The cabinets are I.P.54 protected and cooled by an air conditioner rated for external temperatures
of up to +45°C (113°F).

Siemens Sinumerik 840 D SL de dernière génération,
à commande numérique sur architecture PC et PC avec
50.3, processeur Intel Celeron 1.5 Ghz - 512 MbRam,
disc dur de 40 Gb et système en environnent Windows
XP. Le tableau de commande se trouve sur une console
inclinée orientable, avec clavier et visualisation graphique
sur l’écran en couleur et porte USB. Un tableau de
commande portable, relié par câble à l’armoire électrique,
duplique les commandes principales (gestion axes
+ volant, arrêt d’urgence…). Ainsi, l’opérateur peut
contrôler de près, directement sur la pièce à travailler,
le déroulement correct de certaines opérations
particulièrement délicates. Tous les appareils électriques
et de services se trouvent dans deux armoires, situées
sur le côté de la base, avec degré de protection IP55 et
refroidies par un conditionneur d’air dimensionné pour
des températures externes atteignant jusqu’à +45°C.

draw and program complex stone work-pieces,
for shaping centres with three interpolated axes.
The CAM module allows to carry out the following
major functions:
• cutting and shaping with saw blade.
• shaping, profiling, hole drilling, milling and
hollowing out with millers or shaped tools.
• polishing of tops (even inclined tops).
• 3D engraving of Windows "True Type" fonts
on flat horizontal or vertical surfaces.
• bas-reliefs imported from digitized surfaces.
The CAD module allows to carry out the following
major functions:
• generation of 2D drawings with relevant
dimensions.
• determination of the 3D working volume
of the piece.
• determination of any working plane inside

The 3D SOLID SIMULATION module allows:

ROBOCUP “HOSE-FREE” SYSTEM
Robocup is a patented revolutionary system
that allows automating the placement of the
suction cups on the workbench and
eliminates the need for vacuum hoses.
During the programming process the user simply
drags and drops the drawings of the suction cups
to their position within the piece drawings.
When the cutting program is sent to the machine
and the operator starts the program, an automatic
cycle begins where the spindle automatically loads
a pod pickup tool which travels to a pod magazine,
picks up the pod, and places it at the preprogrammed
location on the table.
The table is equipped with an “on demand”
network of vacuum outlet nodes, which fixes
the pod securely to the table without the need
for manual intervention.
After the work cycle is completed, the pods are
returned to the magazine and auto table wash cycle
begins before the next set up cycle.
This feature allows the user to significantly reduce
the total table set up time and makes it possible
to automate the loading and unloading of the work
pieces by robot.
Robocup system°- breveté – est un système
révolutionnaire qui permet d’automatiser le
positionnement des ventouses sur la table de travail,
ainsi que le chargement et le déchargement des
pièces. La broche prélève automatiquement les
ventouses à double effet dans le magasin porte-outils
et les dépose sur la table de travail en correspondance
des soupapes autobloquantes fixées sur la table et
en fonction du programme de travail introduit dans
le système et des pièces à usiner. Le dispositif
autobloquant garantit le blocage des ventouses sur
la table. Un manipulateur/bras de prélèvement de
pièces à usiner prélève les pièces dans le magasin
spécifique et les dépose sur les ventouses en fonction
du programme d’usinage introduit dans le système.
Le dispositif autobloquant garantit le blocage des
pièces aux ventouses. Après avoir réalisé les usinages
de contournage, le dispositif autobloquant débloque
les pièces des ventouses, le manipulateur/bras de
prélèvement prélève les pièces usinées et les dépose
dans le magasin spécifique, le dispositif autobloquant
débloque les ventouses de la table, la broche prélève
automatiquement les ventouses et les déposent dans
le magasin porte-outils spécifique, un système de
lavage sous pression spécifique effectue le lavage de
la table d’usinage avant de commencer un nouveau
cycle de déposition des ventouses.
