L’exposition des tapissiers du Vermont
(GMRHG) s’en vient a grand pas et
nous avons dû régler un petit problème
d’horaire. En effet, notre prochaine
rencontre et assemblé annuelle sont le
même jour que le dépôt des tapis au
musée de Shelburne.
Nous avons pu organiser un dépôt alternatif le dimanche 19 octobre. Vous
n’avez qu’a apporter vos tapis a notre
réunion du 18 octobre en suivant ces
quelques directives:
•
Seuls les membres du GMRHG
sont admissibles,
•
Remplissez scrupuleusement le
formulaire d’inscription page 3,
•
Identifiez votre tapis clairement à
l’endos
•
Apporter chaque tapis avec son
formulaire rempli Préférablement dans un sac de papier ou
de plastique,
•
Lors de mon retour, je vous retourne le reçu de votre tapis.

The Green Mountain Rug Hooking
Guild exhibition is coming soon and
we had a scheduling problem to resolve. Our annual meeting is scheduled
on the same day that rugs are to be entered at the Museum on October the
18, 2008.
We were able to make alternative arrangements Gail Lapierre will meet me
(Jocelyn) on Sunday the 19th to receive
the rugs from out group.
Please follow these directions:
•
Only rugs from current members
of the GMRHG are accepted,
•
Fill the entry form on page 3
•
Identify your rug on the back,
•
Bring each rug and its entry form
attached in a bag (paper or plastic) to the October the 18
hookin and annual meeting.
•
When I return, the rug receipt
will be forwarded to you through
the most convenient means possible.

The Quebec House Series
La maison québécoise sera déposé a
l’exposition sous le nom du groupe les
Tapissiers de Saint-Henri (chaque artiste sera quand même identifié avec
son tapis). Ceci permettra a tous les tapis d’être exposés ensemble, que l’artiste soit membre du GMRHG ou non.
Vous devez suivre les mêmes instructions que ci-dessus mais bien spécifier
lors de la remise de votre tapis qu’il s’agit d’une maison québécoise.
The Quebec Houses series will be entered under the name of the SaintHenri Rug Hooking group, this will allow all rugs to be presented together
and also to enter the whole series
whether hooked by a GMRHG member or not (the name of each individual
artist will still appear with the rug). You
have to follow the above instructions
but have to specify when you hand in
your rug that it is a Quebec House rug.

While the Green Mountain Rug Hooking Guild and Shelburne Museum take every precaution to protect all pieces brought in for the exhibit, we
know you will understand we cannot accept liability for them. The Round Barn is a secured facility and the museum grounds are patrolled during hours that the exhibit is closed.

Rugs will be hung by carpet strips supplied by guild unless Velcro is attached to the back of rug (include matching
strip). Rugs hung on the blue "walls" on the main floor must be mounted with brads. If mounting with brads or
nails is unacceptable, the exhibit tag must be clearly marked with the word “NO” by the member submitting the
rug.
All rugs must be claimed on Sunday, November 16th between 4:00 – 5:00 PM
