Un PDA très robuste
Le Nomad est conforme à la sévère norme militaire MIL-STD-810F
relative aux chutes, aux vibrations, à l’humidité, à l’altitude et aux
températures extrêmes. Nomad est classé IP 67, ce qui signifie
qu’il est complètement hermétique à la poussière et à l’eau.
A strong PDA
The Nomad meets the rigorous MIL-STD-810F military standard
for drops, vibration, humidity, altitude and extreme temperatures.
Nomad is IP67 rated, which means that it is completely sealed
against dust and water.
Hautes performances
Nomad est équipé d’un puissant processeur Marvell PXA320
Xscale 806 MHz, de 128 MB de mémoire SDRAM DDR et d’une
mémoire Flash de 512 MB ou 1 GB, au choix. Il possède une batterie
Lithium Ion interchangeable sous tension qui peut fonctionner toute
la journée sans être rechargée. L’écran tactile full VGA offre des
images de haute résolution nettes et ce, même en plein soleil, ce
qui le rend idéal pour toute application axée sur les graphismes. Le
clavier numérique est équipé de rétro-éclairage pour une utilisation
nocturne ou pour les milieux obscurs.
Le Nomad comprend également le dernier logiciel Windows Mobile
6 ; il est donc compatible avec toutes les applications que vous
utilisez le plus, y compris une large variété de logiciels tiers destinés
aux applications spécifiques à votre secteur d’activité.
High performances
Nomad comes with a powerful 806 MHz Marvell PXA320 XScale
processor, 128 MB DDR SDRAM, a choice of 512 MB or 1 GB
of Flash memory. It has a hot-swappable Lithium Ion battery
that can work all day without a recharge. A full VGA display and
touchscreen offers sharp, high-resolution graphics even in bright
sunlight, making it ideal for any graphic intense application. The
numeric keypad has backlight for night use or dark environments.
The Nomad also includes the latest Windows Mobile 6 software, so
it runs all the applications you use most, including a wide range of
third-party software for industry-specific applications.
