What is FENTANYL?:
Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid drug narcotic, a prescription drug used to treat
severe pain. It is available on a prescription-only basis, usually in the form
of a slow release patch. However, it has been suggested that illicit fentanyl
in powder form is being mixed with street drugs such as heroin – cocaine
or being pressed into pills and made to look like oxycodone and being
sold on the street.
