The protection of the environment is an ongoing process. As such continuous improvements are required to live up to our environmental
accountability to consumers, suppliers, employees and the generations to come.
Each human being is in direct contact with his environment. As such, environmental protection is of enormous importance to PUMA and
also poses challenges ahead. Our aim is not only to make environmentally compatible production of our goods transparent, but also to
continuously improve our standards. We spend enormous efforts in phasing out the material PVC from all our products. Actually we are
proud to say that all our products are PVC free. As well being engaged in several working committees on product related environmental
issues ensures us that our standards are always updated.
We take our responsibility towards our customers.
La protection de l´environnement est une démarche continue. C´est pour cela qu´un processus d´amélioration constant est nécessaire
pour faire face à notre responsabilité envers les consommateurs, les fournisseurs, les collaborateurs et les générations à venir.
Chaque personne se trouve en contact direct avec l´environnement. C´est pourquoi la protection de ce dernier est d´une importance
capitale pour PUMA et représente aussi un défi pour le futur. Notre but n’est ne pas seulement de rendre transparente une production non
polluante de nos articles, mais aussi d´améliorer constamment nos standards. Nous ferons tout pour exclure le PVC de nos produits et
nous sommes fiers d’annoncer que nous n’utilisons plus cette matière. Notre affiliation dans plusieurs groupes de travail visant à parfaire
la relation environnement - produits garantit aussi une amélioration constante de nos standards.

Der Umweltschutz ist ein immerwährender Prozess. Daher ist ein kontinuierlicher Verbesserungsprozess notwendig, um unserer
Verantwortung gegenüber Verbrauchern, Lieferanten, Mitarbeitern und den kommenden Generationen gerecht zu werden.

S.A.F.E
Sustainable Development
PUMA acknowledges its responsibility towards its shareholders, customers, business partners and the environment and follows the
principle of sustainable development.
With our S.A.F.E. concept (Social Accountability and Fundamental Environmental Standards) PUMA deve-loped a strategy to ensure a
sustainable implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility issues along the supply chain.
The S.A.F.E. concept is based on two parts:
1. National, international and own environmental standards
2. Stringent social standards based on Intl. Conventions and Standards such as those set by the International Labour Organization
(ILO), SA 8000 (Standard for Social Accountability), other NGOs as well as PUMAs own standards, including internationally-recognized
workplace health & safety regulations such as those developed by OSHAs (Occupational Safety and Health Administration).
True to the adage that „responsibility starts at home”, these standards are primarily upheld by the PUMA S.A.F.E. Audit Team, a group that
monitors partner manufacturers and works with the rest of the company in promoting the S.A.F.E. concept. By rigorously enforcing the
S.A.F.E. principles, PUMA is able to ensure that labor is not exploited and that production methods are continuously revised.
In addition to the S.A.F.E. monitoring efforts, PUMA is a member of the Fair Labor Association, which conducts independent, external and
unannounced audits of 5% of PUMA’s supplier base annually.
Un développement durable
PUMA est conscient de sa responsabilité envers ses actionnaires, ses clients, ses partenaires en affaires et l´environnement et suit le
principe du développement durable.
Avec le plan S.A.F.E (Social Accountability et Fundamental Environmental Standards) PUMA a développé une stratégie qui assure une
réalisation durable d´une responsabilité sociale patronale (Corporate Social Responsibility) le long de la chaîne de création de valeurs.
Le plan S.A.F.E. a deux bases:
1. Des standards écologiques nationaux, internationaux et propres.
2. Le respect strict des standards sociaux qui reposent sur les directives internationales de l’ILO (International Labour Organization), SA 8000
(Standard for Social Accountability), d´autres organisations non-gouvernementales ainsi que sur les standards développés expressément
par PUMA. En outre, toutes les activités respectent des dispositions reconnues au niveau international pour un poste de travail salubre et
sûr, par exemple de l’OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration).
Suivant le principe « la responsabilité commence à la maison », l´équipe S.A.F.E. de PUMA contrôle la chaîne de fournisseurs et
applique en compagnie des fabricants des produits PUMA ce même plan S.A.F.E. Par la réalisation conséquente des principes de
S.A.F.E , PUMA s’assure que les droits des salariés sont respectés et que les méthodes de production soient soumises à un procès
d´amélioration constant.
En plus des contrôles S.A.F.E, PUMA est membre de la Fair Labor Association laquelle réalise chaque année des contrôles indépendants et
inopinés chez 5% des fournisseurs PUMA.

PUMA ist sich seiner Verantwortung gegenüber seinen Aktionären, seinen Kunden und Geschäftspartnern und gegenüber der Umwelt
bewusst und folgt dem Prinzip der nachhaltigen Entwicklung.
Mit dem S.A.F.E Konzept (Social Accountability und Fundamental Environmental Standards) hat PUMA eine Strategie entwickelt, die eine
nachhaltige Umsetzung von unternehmerischer Sozialverantwortung (Corporate Social Responsibility) entlang der Wertschöpfungskette
sichert.
Das S. A.F.E. Konzept basiert auf zwei Grundlagen:
1. Nationale, internationale und eigene ökologische Standards.
2. Die strikte Einhaltung sozialer Standards, die sowohl auf internationalen Richtlinien der International Labour Organization (ILO),

Standards beruhen. Zudem richten sich alle Aktivitäten nach international anerkannten Bestimmungen für einen gesundheitsfördernden
und sicheren Arbeitsplatz, entwickelt beispielsweise von der OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration).
Gemäß dem Leitsatz „Verantwortung beginnt zu Hause“, überprüft das PUMA S.A.F.E. Team die Lieferantenkette und setzt zusammen mit
den Herstellern der PUMA Produkte das S.A.F.E. Konzept um. Durch die konsequente Umsetzung der S.A.F.E. Prinzipien gewährleistet
PUMA, dass Arbeitnehmerrechte respektiert werden und die Produktionsmethoden einem ständigen Verbesserungsprozess
unterliegen.
Zusätzlich zu den S.A.F.E. Kontrollen ist PUMA Mitglied in der Fair Labor Association, welche jährlich unabhängige und unangekündigte
Kontrollen bei 5% der PUMA Lieferanten durchführt.

technics line REBOUND 2.0 has evolved from the very successful „technics line“.
When developing REBOUND 2.0 the main focus was directed to the improvement of cushioning and protection of joints especially on
hard grounds. The core of the new development is the innovative, quick responding, soft foamed PU midsole Bounce. In combination with
the shock absorbing idCELL, the hi-tech outsoles and the evercushion® pro footbed the Bounce midsole forms a perfect unit to minimize
physical stress.

Lors du développement de REBOUND 2.0 une attention particulière a été portée sur l’amélioration de l’amorti et la protection des

The high performance footbed with underfoot wave structure is designed to give optimum
cushioning at the point of contact and right through the natural walking motion of the
foot, therefore giving maximum relief to high compression zones. The durable top
fabric and perforated forepart ensure breathability.

The iCELL technology enhances the cushioning and stabilizing
value of the shoe and provides superior comfort to the wearer.
iCELL is a structure of highly resilient hexagonal cells. The
specific placement of the cells increases the cushioning
