INGRÉDIENTS
3 tablespoons or (45 ml) of olive oil
1 chopped onion
3 cloves of garlic chopped finely
1 pound or(450 g) of ground beef
1 chopped green pepper
1 carrot (grated )
3 stalks of celery finely chopped
1 can of tomato soup ( 10 ounces or 325 ml )
1 can of tomato juice (19 ounces or 6ooml )
1 can of diced tomatoes (28 ounces or 825 ml )
1 can of tomato paste (5 ½ ounces or 150ml )
1/2 a bottle of chilli sauce ( a big bottle) )
1 teaspoon of brown sugar ( 5 ml )
salt, pepper, hot chillies to taste
2 bay leaves
1 1/2 cup of water ( 375ml )
Directions :
1. In a big pot, heat the oil adding the onion and garlic
2. add the meat, make sure it is cook well.
3. add the vegetables
4. add the rest of the ingredients.
5. Cover half way and let simmer for 3 hours, stiring often
