INFORMATION - APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT INSURANCE FOR
REGULAR EMPLOYEES IN THE SPECIAL EDUCATION SECTOR
AND IN A DAY CARE SERVICE
June 2012
In order to correctly apply for employment insurance, please take note of the following:
Concerning your choice of vacation:
 If you choose option 1:
(vacation starting on June 26) your last day worked becomes the last day paid.
 If you choose option 2:
(payment of vacation days on June 22) your last day worked is June 22.
 If you choose option 3:
(vacation paid in August) your last day worked is June 22, however your return date
becomes the first day paid on vacation.
Important:
Please note that you must not apply with Service Canada before the last day paid.
