RÉGLEMENTATION RELATIVES AUX VOLS VFR DOUALA/MALABO
PAR LES AÉRONEFS DE TOURISME ET DE TRAVAIL AÉRIEN
REGULATION APPLICABLE FOR VFR FLIGHTS DOUALA/MALABO
OPERATED BY TOURISM AND AERIAL WORK AIRCRAFT
Les aéronefs de tourisme ou de travail aérien sont autorisés à
effectuer des vols DOUALA/MALABO avec un Plan de vol VFR en
respectant les procédures ci-après :
Tourism or aerial work aircraft are allowed to operate flights
DOUALA/MALABO with a VFR flight plan while respecting procedures
mentioned below :
1° Le dépôt d'un plan de vol est obligatoire.
1° The submission of a flight plan is obligatory.
2° Le passage au bureau Prévision Météo est obligatoire.
2° The passage in the Meteorological Forecast Office is
obligatory.
3° Afin d'éviter des alertes inutiles et de faciliter les recherches,
les aéronefs en vol sur l'itinéraire DOUALA/MALABO doivent
transmettre un message de compte-rendu aux points ci-après
3° In order to avoid useless alerts and facilitate search operations, aircraft in flight on route DOUALA/MALABO must transmit a report message on the following points :
- Travers Sud TIKO
- Travers Victoria (ou BOTA)
- Verticale CAP NACHTIGAL
Ce message de compte-rendu comprend les éléments suivants :

Identification de l'aéronef, point de départ et destination
Identification "SURVOL maritime en VFR"
Position
Heure de la position
Niveau (ou altitude) de croisière
Heure prévue d'arrivée au-dessus du prochain point de
compte-rendu
- Across South TIKO
- Across Victoria (or BOTA)
- Vertical NACHTIGAL CAP
This report message includes the following elements:

Identification of aircraft, departure and finale aerodromes
Identification "MARITIME overflight in VFR"
Position
Hour of position
Level (or altitude) cruise
Estimated arrival time above the next report point
4° A tout moment du vol, l'altitude sera telle que l'aéronef soit à
portée radioélectrique VHF soit de DOUALA, soit de TIKO, soit
de MALABO.
4° At any moment of flight, the altitude will be that the aircraft
must be located at a VHF radio range from DOUALA, either
TIKO, either MALABO.
5° L'équipement de radiocommunication des aéronefs comprendra
au moins un émetteur/récepteur VHF qui devra avoir fait l'objet
d'une visite périodique depuis moins d'une année, à moins que
le certificat d'exploitation radio-électrique n'ait été lui-même
délivré depuis moins d'une année
5° The radio communication equipment of the aircraft will include
at least a VHF transmitter/receiver having be the object of a
periodic visit since less than one year, unless the radio
operation certificate was itself delivered since less than one
year:
- Un radio-compas (ADF) ou VOR.
- a radio-compass equipment (ADF) or VOR.
6° L'exploitant et le pilote sont tenus de respecter les obligations
contenues dans l'arrêté N° 160 du 13.12.1962 relatif aux
conditions techniques d'exploitation des aéronefs de Tourisme
et de Travail Aérien dans la République du Cameroun,
notamment celles de l'Art. 17 .§. B (survol de l'eau).
6° The operator and the pilot are compelled to respect the obligations specified in the Decree N° 160 of 13.12.1962 relative
to the technical operation conditions of tourism and aerial
work operating in Republic of Cameroon, notably those of
article 17 .§. B (overflight of water surface).
7° L'exploitant (ou le pilote représentant l'exploitant) s'engagera
par écrit à rembourser les frais éventuels de recherches et de
sauvetage
7° The operator (or the pilot representing the operator) will
provide a written engagement to pay back the possible costs
of search and rescue operations.
